I believe all shops should either have their pricing posted somewhere visible in the store or the employee working at the time should confirm pricing once you're in the store. Obviously, as the consumer, you can also do your due diligence, but as a service provider and vendor, you should also do your due diligence because not disclosing consistent information makes you appear to be untrustworthy. I called to get pricing for 2 piercings and was told "$80-$90 depending on jewelry selected". So walking into the store, the piercings I was purchasing for my sister, were expected to be in that price point. However, after she was pierced, the revealed price ended up being $75 per piercing.

Now, I also purchased a nose ring and was told all about it's titanium qualities, but the owner did not disclose the "one size fits all" quality about it. So when I got home, I attempter to adjust the nose ring to fit my nostril and it snapped. I understand that I caused this, but had I known it wasn't adjustable, I either wouldn't have purchased it or would have done more to see if it would fit (without having to put it in) when I was in the store. The lack of information being disclosed and the discrepancy makes this owner/store unprofessional in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. We can understand it must be frustrating for you to have misunderstood our pricing over the phone. The $80-$90 was EACH.. $40 for the piercing and jewelry starting at $35 going up from there plus tax. We did give you $40 off for one nipple. You admittedly broke the jewelry in question. You could have called the shop to ask if/how to adjust it or came in for the piercer to assist you with. Once jewelry leaves the shop if it is broken or lost the client is responsible for that. We wish you well on your journey with another shop that can meet you budget, expectations and what you believe the policies should be, that is not us.
