    We had booked a craft class/ experience with "the Craft Bar' Scheduled for 12/ 11/ 24. On our way to the event, the owner, *** ******, called to cancel our event as she wasn't feeling well. The event cost ***** per person plus a ****** booking fee. When we contacted her a couple days later, she said she does not issue refunds, that instead, we could use the funds to purchase something from her shop. Her services were not rendered and she now has over ******** of our money.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. When I reached out, they refused to resolve my issue. In fact, the business owner hung up on me when I tried to ask for my refund. When I posted a review on their webpage, they responded by  mocking me, it was extremely unprofessional.

    Miss Os friend arranged for a private event the evening of December 11 at 6:30. They all signed up and knew our policy ahead of time as it is on our website, our ******** page, our credit card account. It is discussed before paying for the projects. No refunds No Exceptions. 90 day credit because its a CUSTOM BUSINESS. 
    At 4:30 on December 11, I took a terrible fall in the store and was knocked out and sent to the emergency room and into the hospital because I had a concussion. I called the event arranger at approximately 5:15 as I was trying to find a substitute teacher for the class. I was told by the arranger, Miss V to please not worry about it and take care of myself. They would postpone and come up with another date! I told her I would waive the 90 day credit and they could have it whenever they wanted it and I would also supply them with Prosecco for a Prosecco party. Email attached.

    Miss OK called and proceeded to yell at me & my assistant on speakerphone stating she wanted her money back, and if I did not refund her money, she and her friends would come after me and make sure she took me down and ruin our reputation. 
    I am attaching all of our notices regarding no refunds and emails below. 

    In the interim, Miss O has led a slander campaign against me putting reviews wherever she can think - yelp Google ******** and now her friends have followed suit saying they will no longer support my store when theyve never been here and theyve never met me!!! It has caused my (6.5 years) 5 out of 5 stars on ****** to go down to

    I had made custom stencils and purchased all supplies. They are more than welcome to come and pick everything up and I will supply an instruction video or they can come anytime and make their signs as I have offered numerous times. I cannot refund their money after making and purchasing all supplies. I would be losing money.

    Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

    FAQ
    None of what this business owner has written is accurate. Never did I yell or 'slander' her business. I requested my refund and was rejected, when I tried to discuss the matter, they business owner's assistant hung up on me. The only policy on their website, states that if the customer canceled, there would be no refund. But our party did not cancel, the business owner canceled. I'm not sure how else to make this clear. Our party is requesting our refunds since their services were not provided to us. The woman who booked our event, did not agree to postpone our event, instead she said 'we will be in touch.' I would be happy to remove our negative reviews of the business, once I receive my refund.
