    On May 1, we wrote a $1000 check which was deposited by Field Resources, to provide a property boundary marking for our property. When we heard nothing from them and no one came to do the work for several weeks, we started inquiring on the status. We have requested several e-mail and phone call updates and made at least 2 office visits and they have not yet provided a clear explanation or estimated completion date. The only email we received was on the 19 ofJune which stated a site visit was scheduled for the following week yet no work has been performed. We would like our money back. We also are now unable to have our property line marked before they put up the new house next door so we are particularly put out by their lack of follow through.

    Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

    To whom it may concern,

    We received the response from Field Resources by mail last week, and reject the proposed resolution.

    To address their points:
    1) We have never received a bill or invoice for services. The amount they have listed has not been justified in an invoice with a log of hours. Their response to this complaint is the first time we have heard anything in regards to our contract.
    2) The anticipated timeline in the contract was a matter of weeks, not months. It specifically says that "updates will be given upon request if the timeline is exceeded".  We requested these updates on several occasions after the timeline had been well exceeded and they were not provided. We were in fact told that they would not provide any updates on timeline by the employee to whom we spoke, in direct opposition to this.
    3) The property line to which they refer, the one that resulted in the reduction in the size of the deck on the new construction site, does not abut our property line. This abuts ***********************, so has no bearing on our work request
    4)  We were informed that surveyors in ************* have right of trespass, so we reject the argument that the work could not be performed due to concern over trespassing on the neighboring property. Still, we were informed by the town that the setback measurement we have requested could have been measured from our property line, as the frame of the house has been erect for months at this point.
