This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. The owner (********************) has been extremely rude during all communications. Check the other 1-star reviews by using the filter, many other customers have said they are constantly rude as well. It's also pretty obvious that they post their own 5-star reviews to offset their unhappy customers, so don't be fooled by their ****** review rating. Check out their reviews on Yelp - they are 99% negative. The oil is overpriced compared to competitors. The techs are mostly in their early 20s and very inexperienced. Today, I had service done at my house, and they neglected to bring all the tools and materials they needed to do the job - they came 2 weeks ago to assess the work, and in that short time they seemingly lost the details of the assessment, because they had no idea what needed to be fixed. They had to call in another technician to deliver what was needed for the work - even though the tech's assessment from 2 weeks ago properly identified all the work needed. They clearly have organizational/leadership issues.

We have worked with *********************** ever since buying our home 7 years ago. They have always provided stupendous service whether it was helping replace our leaking water heater, replacing a faulty sump pump to maintenance work of our heating system and oil deliveries.All technicians we have worked with are great and professional.We have also had *********************** install mini ductless splitters throughout our house. I found out there was a leak in our oil tank at 4:50pm on a Friday night. They came out within 20 minutes patched the tank, cleaned up all the oil and made arrangements for a new oil tank to be delivered and installed at 8am on Monday morning. It all went so smoothly - they took care of everything. I've been a customer for many years and they have ALWAYS been an amazing company. Everyone in the office is professional and helpful and their service couldn't be any better. I don't usually write reviews, but I am happy to do this one.Kerivan-Lane, Inc.

I recently needed to have my oil tank replaced and I contacted *********************** for a quote. In addition to the tank replacement, I wanted to have a double wall upright tank installed due to space considerations, and asked to have the fill pipe moved so I could enlarge my front steps and landing. I could not be happier with the results. The old tank was removed without any spills, new piping was installed and painted, and the holes left from the old fill pipe removal were plugged and covered over. Everything was handled very professionally with calls and contact throughout the process.Well done Kerivan Lane!Kerivan-Lane, Inc.

We worked with *********************** this winter on having mini-split/heat pumps installed across all 3 levels of our **** house. The level of customer service was excellent, particularly around the support we needed to navigate the convoluted MassSave loan and rebate process. We signed up for their fixed-rate home oil special in September 2021, at a rate of $2.799/gallon through 5/1/22. Between September and February, they added about 75 gallons to our tank on a consistent basis. Then, when prices increased, they stopped delivering oil. We contacted them several times requesting delivery. Instead, they sent a tech to our house unannounced to measure our tank. After indicating that we would contact the ** for allowing our tank to go empty, the owner, *******************************, left a voicemail saying they would not fill our tank or honor our offer, which expires 5/1/22. Our tank is now empty because of Kerivan Lanes greediness and unethical practices.Kerivan-Lane, Inc.

*********************** honored the new customer contract and provided the oil during the contract period at the contract price. The customer did NOT run out of fuel and at the time we measured the tank they had 65 gallons in the tank. The customer was trying to pressure us to fill the tank so that they would have fuel to use beyond the contract period. I understand why they would want that because there is a $3 per gallon difference in the price. I submit that the "unethical" and "greed" is perhaps on the side of the customer and not the company that honored the contract. You decide.Craig S.

Instead of bringing oil, Kerivan Lane set a tech, unannounced, to measure the oil in our tank on 4/12. It was measured to be 1/8 full by their tech and he indicated that they were avoiding filling tanks due to higher costs. Our contract is through 5/1 (technically still under contract today) and we ran out of oil on 4/21. After 4/12, we also asked for an emergency fill-up, which would have been a partial fill, but ******* never followed through with that either. Luckily, ***************** came and filled up our empty tank within the hour of calling them. But, we agree, let future customers decide. We're happy to put this behind us and work with a more reliable and professional company.
