    My father purchased a semi truck and Firestone Financial is the lender.. He did have a covid adjustment but which he made payments directly towards interest. First they told us we have 9 payments remaining and now its 13. And they are double charging interest from the adjustment and the extension. At this point we will like we are being scammed. We have 13 payments left of $3125 but when asked for payoff amount its $55,000+... They are saying payments will increase towards end (balloon payment) basically. At this point we feel like we are being cheated by this lender. They have horrible reviews on ****** and we arent the first ones that feel cheated. We have proof where he made direct payments to interest only. We asked them for a one week payoff and its still ******+

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. They said they would call me last week and nothing yet. They're trying to overcharge money that should not be overcharged. If it's 12 payments at $3125, thats 34ish thousand. Not 55+

    ********************** (***************************** father), Firestone's customer called into **************** to question why their maturity date had moved out (11) months from the initial contract. When the representative explained it was due to (4) modifications totaling (11) months that were moved to the end of the term that occurred over the life of the loan, the customer did not feel that the balance remaining was accurate. The call was escalated to myself and two conversations with *************************, with permission from the customers, ******* and ************************* occurred working through their payment history and how the interest is calculated. If the customer was still unsure, we advised to have their accountant review the paperwork we provided, the original contract, current payment history, the (4) modification contracts for review. As of 8/7/2024, the customer has scheduled their payoff on 8/13/2024 to finalize their final payment and I believe this has been resolved.
