    11/1/2023 brought my vehicle in for repairs. The part was replaced on the vehicle 11/2/2023 (camshaft actuator $510.00). 11/14/2023, I realized that a significant amount of oil / fluid was leaking out of the vehicle (new large puddle in my driveway). *********** both called the shop to let them know--looks like it's something that they did, or did not do, that caused the leak. The part they replaced and other screws were loose. Finally, they agreed to send a tow truck next day (11/15/23) to tow it back to the shop. No updates 11/15-11/16/23. Stopped by on 11/17/23. They turned the car on and showed me that there is plenty of oil and antifreeze in the car, so it couldn't be leaking, but there was a large fresh wet spot directly under the car. I was told he needs put it on the lift to see where the leak is coming from. 11/18/23, I called and was told they put it up on the lift, could see a leak, but needed to clean the oil from the car to see where the leak was coming from. Asked for a call with an update, never got one. I asked for updates consistently once it was towed back but had to physically go there to get any info. 11/20/23, call all day long, no answers. I'm told that a plastic piece wasn't tightened, which caused the leak, but it's ok now, and I should be getting a call soon. Wait and call again--finally get through and I'm told that they can't find a leak and couldn't find loose parts that need tightening, so he actually tried tightening something to the point that it broke and had to be replaced, which he replaced with a random s**** I'm then told I can pick it up before 9pm and I owe $250 for the tow or I can't have the car because they didn't do anything wrong. I paid because I'm tired of having to chase them for updates and I want my car back. In retrospect, it seems wrong that I paid $510 for the initial shoddy work, then $250 for a tow, only to be told conflicting information. It makes no sense at all.
