  On the night of June 4, 2025, Sheehans Service Station was dispatched by *** to tow my vehicle a 2010 ************* C300 due to a no-start issue related to the *** system. When the driver arrived, he used a flatbed tow truck and chained the vehicle to the bed without placing the vehicle in neutral or using the required ************* tow accessory. As a result of this improper procedure, both of my front tie rods snapped, leaving the front wheels turned outward and rendering the car completely immobile.The vehicle was left at my mechanics lot and could not be moved or inspected for several weeks because of the damage. Once accessed, my mechanic confirmed that the snapped tie rods were caused directly by the tow. I have retained the damaged parts and have photo documentation available to support this.Since discovering the damage, I have been working through ***, who dispatched Sheehans, to resolve the situation. *** failed to contact ******* on my behalf (despite assuring me they would handle communications), and to my knowledge, ******* has made no attempt to reach out to me either. I was never contacted by the driver or anyone from *******. After weeks of emails and calls, *** closed my damage claim, stating they cannot determine liability and that ******* is an independent contractor. I was given no further options or support.This was not a vendor I chose ******* represented ***, and the *** logo was visible on the truck. I trusted *** to send a capable and responsible towing service, and instead, Ive been left with over $1,300 in repair bills, of which I am seeking reimbursement of $500 directly related to Sheehans negligence during the tow.Desired Resolution:I am requesting reimbursement of $500 for the portion of repair costs caused directly by improper towing performed by Sheehans Service Station. I am prepared to provide:Photos of the damage A statement from my mechanic The damaged tie rods themselves (still in my possession)
