    I recently posted about our difficult renovation experience with Cedrone Contractor (***** Cedrone). After that post, others contacted me who said they'd also had concerns with him, which made me feel it was important to add more detail for anyone considering a general contractor. I know there are some great ones out there - so do your diligence better than we did to find one. We trusted online reviews and signed a large contract because ***** seemed confident he could manage the project. In my experience, it fell far short of expectations, including inadequate oversight, recurring quality issues, charges being added without our authorization, over $10,000 in property damage that the contractor refused to repair. Ultimately, we had a house that was only partially livable, with a renovation far from complete. I believe we're in worse condition than when the project began, and are still dealing with the aftermath months later. My advice is to ask to speak directly with past customers who had similar projects before signing a large renovation contract. If thats not possible, I suggest considering other contractors. Good luck with your project.
