Contracted with Brady Home Improvements to demo a concrete deck and replace with a composite deck. The process was brutal, permits took much longer than they should have due to contractor providing correct documentation. Claimed delays in receiving material, material did not arrive until I back checked and found none had been ordered, within a few days of these supplies arrived. Work hours were sketchy, showed up; didn't show up. We stated from signing the contract in early March that our deadline would be our daughter's graduation as we would be entertaining. The Friday before the graduation not only was the work not complete, but contractor underestimated the supplies needed and about a quarter of the project could not be completed, leaving an unsafe condition of our front porch. At this point we had prepaid for the materials (******) and given him an extra $600 for equipment he needed to rent but didn't account for which was not in contract. We also had given him another $8700 for Demo/Rough framing pay, and then an $1800 advance on final payment. After the graduation we waited a week to see what was happening and what his plan was to complete the job. His response was that he was out of money, and was taking on smaller jobs to fund finishing ours. I pointed out that there was still detail work that needed to be completed that did not require the additional material. I waited an additional week to see what his response was, when he was a no show all that week, I terminated him on Friday and contracted another contractor to finish the job, costing me another 6k.

Would give this business negative stars. I signed a contract for exterior work as well as window and door replacement and trim. Paid for materials up front due to his claim of small business costs. Project was supposed to be done by end of August but he kept claiming shipping delays. He started the job in December and immediately noticed the windows were much smaller than what had been theres he broke the trex decking and removed a custom double ************************* door replacing it with a single pane door that is now not flush with the deck and requires a step over. After calling him about the faulty, warped door and windows being small he claimed they just needed to be trimmed and he would return in the spring. ***** arrived and no contact. I went to his business address which was his home and observed he had built a large second story addition into his home. Ironically with the same siding I had paid for an ordered. I learned he paid 6k in cash for off the floor windows and doors from ************** in November and that there were no delays in items in my order. He despite claiming he would drop off materials never did. He the. Offered to pay back the money in a payment arrangement over 20 years!! We denied that and are continuing with the court case. Buyer Beware.
