    A 1992 ****** 4Runner transmission was purchased on May 13, 2024 for $1,777.00. On July 23, 2024 the merchandise arrived from Ready to Start Auto Parts in Mass. We were told the transmission had ****** original miles. Because of the year, in 1992 the odometer only had 4 digits and one being in the 10ths so there was no way to know if it had ****** miles or more like 1****** miles on it. The transmission was shipped to **************** in *********, **. After full inspection, the mechanic found it to be a faulty non-working transmission. In order to not incur further expenses trying to put it in the car, he advised us it was inoperable. The transmission weighs over 500 pounds and to return it to **** would cost more than $2,000.00. The owner advised us that we would have to pay for a re-stocking fee and pay for shipping.After this scam, we researched this business with the BBB and have found 128 complaints on faulty transmissions and engines in the past three years.If only we had checked on this scam company before we made this costly mistake. BUYER BEWARE!! Don't believe the positive reviews.

    Rio the customer service representative addressed my need a motor for my vehicle and was professional and kept me informed about when my motor would be delivered. Our conversations were productive and he addressed my concerns properly and effectively. I would certainly refer Rio to friends and family.

    My name is ****************** from *********, **. I purchased a transmission from this company a little more than a month ago. From the time I order the transmission from their website, to communicating with the friendly knowledgeable staff, I was very impressed. I received the transmission in three days and had no problems with the delivery. The staff stayed in communication the whole time from ordering, to me receiving my item. Great company and I plan on doing more business with this company in the future. Best of all, the transmission was installed and it runs flawlessly like a new car. Thanks for the great experience.
