    ***************************************, president/owner of AW Plumbing was requested to replace a waste water pump and install another basement pump to remove rainwater causing flooding. While installing the pumps, he damaged the an unrelated part of the home. He did not tell me. When my town building inspector came out to look at the job, The town building inspector reported *************************************** violated several state and local code laws during the installation including the damage to the home. 1. He plugged the pump into the existing wall outlet and did not create a separate dedicated circuit as required. 2. The discharge pipe did not have a back flow. 3. The pipe he installed through the exterior wall of the house was above ground that would then carry the rainwater to the adjoining neighbors property. By law that pipe needed to be underground and into a seperate receiving well. 4. Installed the pump to close to a fire egress window. 5. He cut electrical wires which started a fire in the insulation, did not tell the homeowner and crimped the exposed wires; leaving them exposed (fire hazard) 6. Cut into the floor joists. He also installed a pipe that was connected to the sewer and replaced the pump - by MA law he must be a licensed Plumber to do that work. He is not licensed in ** and did not disclose to me he was not a licensed plumber.
