    I had a horrible experience with this company. We were having problems with our garage door not closing properly. They sent a technician who arrived and started working on the door without any dissuasion or providing a quote. First he wanted to replace the optical sensors which I knew wasn't the problem. He quoted a price of $600 - these sensors cost less than $15 on ****** and replacing them involves undoing a wingnut and connecting a couple of wires. Then he said that my opener wasn't powerful enough which didn't make sense because we are able to set the travel limits. He finally claimed to have fixed the door and charged me $175. Would only accept cash. The very next time I tried to close the door, I had the same problem as before. I called M+L Garage Door Services three times and was told a manager would call me back. No one ever returned my call. I had the technician's phone number on my cell phone and called him directly. He came out the next day and finally admitted that he was unable to fix the door. Refunded me $85 of the $175. I eventually figured out the problem on my own. The cable tension monitor switch was vibrating when the door would close hitting a microswitch causing the door to reverse. I came up with a simple solution that didn't cost anything. I would never recommend using this company. For someone who doesn't know much about garage doors, you could end up spending a great deal of money unnecessarily and getting totally ripped off.
