      Alegra Brasil is a shipping company and I contact them to ship my stuff from *** to my mom's house in ******. I was moving out of state and I could only bring 2 suitcases with me, so I decided to send most of my things to my mom. I sent very important things in the box, such as my wedding dress, my husband's wedding suit, cards, my wedding flower bouquet, my wedding jewelry, home appliances, some gifts for my family, etc. I paid $400 for the shipping service. They picked up the box in my house on March 9th, 2021 and they said it would take up to 3 months to arrive. Well, it's been almost one year and my box still hasn't arrived. Every time that I try to contact them, they say that there is nothing they can do and only give me vague information, or they don't even bother to answer me. The last information that I have is that my box was open and it is mixed with other people's stuff, so they dont know what is mine.       Customer's package went through a federal tax fraud operation by customs at the port of ***************** ******. It was determined by a federal customs agent in ****** that some products that were sent where illegal to enter ****** territory. Therefore, some items that fall in that category were confiscated by customs at the port of ***************** ******

      The company answered me saying that things sent was illegal, but nothing was. They actually delivered a whole box at my house with stuff THAT IS NOT MINE, not even a thing was mine. They every time say something that doesn't make any sense and they don't have any respect for the clients. I still want my box with MY STUFF. I literally sent my wedding dress, cards, photos, my bouquet .... I want my things back. 

      I'm up to give back the box that I received and wasn't mine.

      On April 26th I sent 2 boxes from *****, ** - ** to Goinia, GO - ** as part of my moving baggage. I had been an Au Pair in ******* for over 2 years and I had tickets to come back to ****** in June, so I used Alegra services to help with my moving back. And since then I was getting updates from their website, as attached with their contract. Unfortunately, I stopped getting any good news since my boxes arrived in ****************** - **. They are saying my moving is still in the port "waiting for inspection". It has been more than 6 months that I'm waiting and I got NO response from the company. All they say it's that they cant do anything about my stuff and they DONT KNOW when or IF I will get my stuff. I have 2 small boxes with all my belongings, clothes, gifts from my host family, study equipment, gifts for my family, keyboard/mouse wireless, vacuum, blanket, picnic blanket, essential oils, vitamins, one pair of new ****** shoes, shampoo, conditioner, and much more that I bought within my salary from being Au Pair which is PRICELESS. After everything I have been through with the pandemic living abroad, now I don't know if I can trust the company anymore and if I will see my belongings again - and I hope I do!

      I sent 3 moving boxes through this company to ****** where they were collected on May 6th, 2021 and since June 11th, 2021 it has been in the ********************. I really need my stuff and this to be resolved since I already found people that sent their boxes at the same time frame and they have got their boxes.       Me and me family lived in ****** for six years, We decided to move back to Brasil and we sent boxes with our things through this business. We have two large boxes that we payed four hundred dollars for each one, We sent these two boxes in April and still have not received any of them and every time we get in contact with them they just keep making excuses. We are worried and upset because we would like to have all of our things with us in this new chapter of our lives. We have tons of things with sentimental value to us in these boxes, Things for our new house, We basically have our whole life in these boxes, Six years worth of stuff we worked for in the ** in those boxes.The communication with them is terrible. They say something different every time we talk to them and are very ignorant, They dont give us any information that we ask for, It seems like they also hide lots of information from us. I would just like for all of this to be solved and for us to be able to have all of our things with us. If you guys could do anything to help us me and my family would be extremely greatful!       Upon reading the answer from the business I think it makes necessary to add some comments and  more informations regards this complaint to make clear the reason we opened this case so the business and it's owner can be aware of the reasons we choose this path as one of multiple ways to make sure our situation will be resolved.

       

      Our moving is delayed by 5 months. Even tho we know that there is a ongoing Federal Investigation in ******, we reached out the business several times looking for help and informations so we can, by ourselves try to get the packages released somehow. Unfortunately the tracking updates they give us on their website, as they declared  doesn't give us the info we need to get in touch we the ********* authorities, so we asked for the specific date such as container number, **** of Lading and so on...

       

      The company never gave us those details, instead, on the day of November 19th of 2021, the business owner referred us to a ********* "Broker/forwarding agent" , asking us to reach out to him as he had all the information and necessary paperwork to help us.

      This agent asked us to do several things such as file a complaint on the FMC.gov and BBB to get documented to serve as proof on the process with the ********* authorities. This same agent stated that the business wouldn't pay for his service and charged us R$ 12.000,00 (around $2.000). 

       

      Desperate, we accepted the propose with one condition: That the payment would be made only after the finish of the process and upon review the content of our stuff. The agent then gave us a contract to sign and this contract contained sensitive information related to our packages so we decided to reach out the authorities first to confim the status and location of our boxes by providing the info the agent provided on the contract, for our surprise, everything he provided either didn't match or couldn't be found on the system. 

       

      Once again, we reached out the business owner and made him aware of what happened as we thought we were being scammed by the agent referred by him. 

       

      We are only seeking to get our problem resolved and I hope, as last conversations with owner, the company are applying all the necessary effort release the packages.

      Customers package is in procession of Customs in ****** ********* Brasil. Package is part of an ongoing federal investigation at the port of Brasil called "OUTLET 97". This Package has a tracking number and can be used to track the status of package online. Our company has given responses for every time customer calls and also our lawyers contact information as requested by this customer a day ago. We are trying everything in our power to help and advise anyone whos package is still with customs in the federal investigation at the ports of Brasil.

      The last "update" I received from the tracking number of my package was from 11/15/2021 basically repeating the same information provided on 08/04/2021. As you can see in the previously uploaded document, my package was picked up in Brooklyn on 04/23/2021. I was waiting for 2 months after I sent my package out and since my package was not delivered yet (and I was not receiving any additional information) I got in touch with a representative from Alegra (on 07/22/2021) who then told me about the ongoing situation at the Customs in ******, *********, Brasil. The business said that they have a lawyer taking care of this issue to release the blocked containers, however they do not provide a timeframe or any other information to let their customers more secure that they are actually trying to solve the issue. Because the tracking tool is not really accurate, I always need to send a message to the company requesting for updates and again all I hear is the same information over and over. That's why I requested for their lawyer contact number.  I am going to Brasil this month and I won't have my stuff that I sent back in April of last year. The business told me that I could potentially picked up my package in person if I go to Brasil, but last time they said that this will not work anymore and they offered me $150 for a basic insurance for the "missing" package. I am am very unsatisfied with the lack of information and the poor customer service. I have paid $220 for the service, plus all my belongings that were included inside the package. I really hope that we can find a solution for this as soon as possible.

      Last December we shipped 8 large boxes to go to ******. We got 7 of them but the lost the 8th one. This company will not take responsibility . There were Thousands of dollars worth of our belonging's in this box. This company told us to wait and wait and wait. They will not help us in what they lost us.

      I lived in ******* for 2 and a half years as an au Pair, I contracted the shipment of 2 boxes from the company Alegra Brasil Moving, I paid a total of US$800 just for the shipment, plus what was inside the box, probably another ***** or ***** dollars, the fact that this box came to ****** by ship I sent it in May and we are in December and none of this box arrives at my house, the box is stuck in the port and the company is not giving any support to its customers, we want a plausible solution!

      I purchase a delivery service from ABr Moving at 06/19/2021.I paid $490 for transportation my things from ** to BR by shipping.They collected my box (24"21"48" moving out box) at *****************************************************************, with full of my stuffs inside, they promissed me to drop off the box in ****** at *****************************************, so ***** -**, in between 45 and 90 days. I agreeded and we filled up the contract, but until today after more than 6 months later, I still without receiving my box. From the tracking number they gave me, the information keep changing, someone inside the company type wherever they want there, and when I call them , they are very rude and none says where ecxatly my box is and when I gonna receive my stuffs. I asked for the shippment information as port, ship name, times and they dont provide me any information. They do not even try to solve my issues, I need my stuffs and my money back. Its 6 yeasr of my life packed inside that box.
