    January 19, 2024 we paid $1434.99 for a leather sofa. We could have bought the same sofa for $50.00 less from ****** Furniture, but decided to buy from ***** small family-business. It was delivered February 21 with 4 large rips/scrapes on the leather, because delivery guys crammed it into the elevator. Delivery guys took pictures of damage and apologized.Note that maintenance workers in our apartment building told the delivery guys the angle they should be using to get it on elevator, and larger sofas had been angled into elevator and delivered successfully.After they left, my wife and I decided wed propose a partial refund to ****, because the delivery guys could not get a replacement into our building, and they could not move it out without tying up the elevators again. We paid $250 to our condo management to reserve the elevator for the initial delivery. We werent going paying $250 to reserve an elevator again. We also were not going to pay a haul-away company to haul it. So, we figured we were stuck. **** did not call us after 3 days, so I called Friday afternoon and left a message with his father-in-law to have ***************** me. From our experience with ****, and after reading his other BBB complaints, we could see he was not going to take the initiative to remedy the situation. I was in sales. I would give a full refund immediately and apologize.So, when Monday came and **** still did not call, I called. His wife answered and I proposed that **** send $743.75 back to my credit card and keep the $690.61 that he got from my wifes card.**** came right to the phone, seeming happy that I was letting hm off so easy. But that wasnt enough. He wanted more. Rather than take my generous offer, he worked his sales tactics on me, and feeling disgusted that he went down that road, I agreed to a $550 refund just to get him off the phone. He said it may take a week.It has been almost 8 weeks, and I am not chasing him any more. Now we want a full refund

    I have been waiting almost a year for a piece of furniture that was delivered with a tear in it. I have called way too many times and have been given the run around every step along the way. Do NOT bring any business to this store, they truly don't care.
