Faulty installation on the heat pump in my house. It causes my electric bill to be extremely high for December $937, January $1,341 and February $1,777. MVP only reimburses half of Dec and Jan, nothing for February yet. Since is a faulty installation. MVP should be responsible for 75% for all 3 of the electric bills.

I am writing to file a complaint regarding the heat pump installation by Merrimack Valley Plumbing in June 2024. The system has not been efficient or reduced my electricity bill as promised.Initial Problems: (1) The unit did not cool properly in the first month due to a missing substance, causing it to run continuously and resulting in a high electricity bill. (2) Old copper tubing was used, leading to water leakage in my utility closet, including under my water heater.Current Heating Issues: The system is not heating properly, runs constantly, and fails to reach the set temperature. When the heat turns on, the temperature decreases instead of increasing.Attempts to Resolve: (1) I contacted the company on December 23, 2024. Their technician claimed there was no issue. (2) ************** bill showed an increase of 300 kilowatts compared to the previous year with my old system. (3) I called again on December 28, 2024, to request the system's removal and a refund of $17,896.50. I was told the manager or owner would contact me, but I have not received any response. (4) I have made daily attempts to reach the company via phone, email, and text, but have received no reply.Request for Resolution (1) Removal of the heat pump system and a full refund of $17,896.50.(2) Refund of the $3,750 rebate from Mass Save, as the system is not efficient and does not provide the promised savings.

Our heat was not working on at the beginning of December . We called mvp who came out and said it was the gas valve. They replaced it for a cost of $1200. The heat again was not working on 12/22, mvp came back out and said they needed a new part. Came back 12/23 *** told us we need a whole new furnace, our furnace is 7 years old so we found this strange. Had someone else trusted come out who said it was the gas valve or was not working. MVP has now been back 3 times, agreed it is the gas valve but will not fix it. This is 2 weeks without heat in 20 degree weather with a 5 and 9 year old in our home. We want this done NOW
