      On August 23, 2021 I was in a motor vehicle accident and transported to Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, MA. I provided my ID and insurance information. Less than 60 days later the account is in collections, at which time I gave all my personal and insurance information to the first collector. They sent me bills saying my insurance was billed, so **************** sent PIP exhaustion letters. The exhaustion letters state on them to bill my insurance: 8/16/2022: 1st notice sent to Metrowest Medical Center 4/13/2023Next letter went out to Metrowest Medical Center 7/3/2023 Metrowest and Harvard Pilgrim 8/7/2023 Metrowest and Harvard Pilgrim 3/4/2024 HPHC and Metrowest 3/18/2024 **************** I personally mailed exhaustion letters to both Metrowest and Collectors in 2023 with a note to bill my insurance. I provided collectors with insurance information. Metrowest never billed my insurance and neither did the collectors, despite Metrowest having the information needed all along. Metrowest Medical center admitted on 3/20/2024 through a recorded line that they had the correct information but never billed the insurance company. The collectors were given the insurance information multiple times and told to bill my insurance both verbally and through letters. They never billed the insurance company, and placed a collection notice on my credit report resulting in a sharp decrease of my credit score. It may be too late to bill insurance and my credit has been negatively affected. I may have to pay $10,000 anyway. Metrowest Medical Center is at fault because they did not bill the insurance company and sent it to collections. The collection agency was also given my insurance information and told to bill my insurance verbally and via letters. The collectors did not bill the insurance company, either. The collection agency used deceptive practices by not billing the insurance and reporting false debt to credit agencies. I want the collection taken off my credit report.
