      We were excited to go on a fun ghost tour and arrived timely on a drizzly cold October evening. Our guide Autumn, was scantily dressed in a pair of short shorts and a pink sweater covering her tour shirt. She did not have a light or lantern and it was pitch dark. She used profanity and vulgarities throughout the 30 minutes we stayed before leaving the tour. There was nothing ghostly about the tour other than a scary experience for us. Our guide informed us she could not afford pants and only owned the shorts she had on, had recently been homeless, had problems with the suicide hotline, and advised us she had a backpack full of weapons but would not taser us unless we wanted her to. At that point we kindly excused ourselves. This person should not be dealing with the public. We informed the company and have not received the requested refund or any response from management, after several calls and emails, other than a text saying there would be no refund. The absolute worst, unsafe experience ever, and poor customer service.

      This was one of the most disturbing interactions I have had in my entire life. The tour guide was drunk to the point of ************** and babbling incoherently not giving accurate facts about Saratoga and the ghost tour. She coughed and hacked all over citing allergies. She referred to the Saratoga war memorial as one of her favorite joke locations because the ***** bricks for dead soldiers doesnt matter to the local history and she knows there will be at least another ***** more laid in her lifetime. She never touched on any of the history of the region only stating the city is based on illegal gambling and horses. It became apparent that she had no clue what she was presenting and even compared ghost tours as equal to the philanthropic social work advancements of the gilded era. I contacted the business and was told too bad that I had a bad experience. Super disgusting and why allowing these outside entities provide local history is a bad plan.

      Horrible Ghost Tour in ******** on August 11th. We spent the tour walking through street people who were actively using and aggressive. The Guide walked ahead, leaving many of us alone, and she was a boring storyteller! We stopped five times in total. There was no warning about the area we would be led through, and the most scary thing was the people living on the streets. We complained to the company; they only offered a free tour elsewhere in the **** As Canadian tourists, we aren't sure when we will return to the **** Our biggest complaint is the lack of warning about weaving the roughest part of the downtown core. The first stop would have been a more appropriate place to start, as well as a warning on the website and booking documents about the state of ********'s Chinatown. Given that 16 blocks of ******** had undergrown tunnels, the tour could have been adjusted. Don't waste your precious travel time and money!
