1 starThe absolute worst car buying experience I've ever had. ****** the sales associate and ***** the manager were unprofessional, argumentative, and flat out lied to me on several occasions. I've purchased budget brands and luxury vehicles and I can confidently say I've never been more uncomfortable during a buying experience. I can't say enough how terrible the experience was and how much I can't recommend them.Review fromPaul L

1 starMy parents who are 92 and 91 years of age were sold a 39 month lease on a Mercedes 300 SUV along with a Maintenance contract and Dent contract for $4000 combined in an obvious upsell by ***** **** the lease manager. The car was leased by ****** ********* and approved by ******* ***** the **. They put down $7500 and were required to pay $560 per month. Although they entered into the contract willfully I think it is morally irresponsible on the part of the dealership to take advantage of this obviously compromised couple as they did without contacting their family. Within 2 weeks and less than 300 miles of driving my father drove through his garage door and we were forced to return the car with minimal damage and they had to buyout the lease for another $7700 . They are now out almost $20,000 and awaiting the return of the $4,000 upcharge which this unethical and immoral dealership sold them. We were treated very poorly on returning the car. This business should be ashamed of themselves. We would never recommend them to anyone. Amazingly after exchanging emails to try and put this mess behind us they had the audacity to send soliciting emails to me. Never do business with these people!Review fromCharles B

1 starDec 2023 - Audi Peabody / Ira Motor Group replaced bevel box in 2017 **** A3. Next day I immediately noticed a vibration in the steering wheel when driving out of parking lot. Notified Customer *** that had just delivered the car. No vibration the day before - clearly the result of the work just completed.Audi Peabody went back and forth blaming the tires, then rims, then tires. At no point during this period did they remove part to examine for defective or improper installation. They claimed to "put ears on it" and judged it fine. I also informed them vibration most noticeable in cold weather - below 45, but they always ran tests in temperature controlled garage.Took test ride with service manager and he agreed noticeable. The rims/tires from new A3 swapped to my car. Second ride he agreed vibration still there, which proved my point. Appointment after they ran tests again to support their continued effort - blame tires/rims. Did not open and examine bevel box.Fall 2024 I presented third party information. Mechanic and a tire specialist stated if tires/rims were responsible, vibration would be present throughout car. As vibration was always concentrated in the steering wheel, their opinion was it would typically indicate an issue related to the drive shaft (bevel box is attached to the rear of the front gearbox and the drive shaft). The service manager frustratingly agreed to replace part, but with a significant catch. I would be responsible for the cost a second time if they determined any vibration existed. It was a no win offer for me as over the past year they were constantly providing tests about tires or rims "proving" they were cause of vibration. Several emails over next months in response to this "offer" were ignored. For a full year they never removed the part to examine it. After a year of effort I believe they achieved what was there goal all along - continuously transfer responsibility to the customer until they eventually give up.Review fromCheryl H

1 starBUYER BEWARE! I had the worst car buying experience of my life with ************* of Hanover, MA! While they may treat their customers buying a new Mercedes like gold, I purchased a 3 year old *** X5 hybrid that they received on trade and was lied to even before I drove the 1 1/2 hours to their dealership! This dealership is the stereotypical, shady, lying, bait and switch operation. When i asked if they thought the car was worth the drive, their response "we're a flagship ******** dealer and wouldn't sell any car that doesn't meet our high quality standards". That was lie #1. Lie #2, before I drove there the business manager estimated the trade-in for my car to be between $3k - $5k. After they got me there, they offered me $1k for my car with no negotiation on my trade in or the price they were asking for the ***. Lie #3, I asked if the brakes were checked so that i didn't find out i needed new brakes as soon as i got the car home. Surprise, surprise, within the first 2 days of having the car, i felt the brakes pulsating and also noticed that the brake fluid flush notification was on. I spent $350 on the brake flush. When I called to tell them i needed new brake pads and rotors, and there was a mechanical issue with the hatch, they ignored my calls and messages until after i decided to have the work done at my own expense. Luckily i brought it to *** and they were able to cover it under warranty. Lie #4, 3 different people at ******** were apparently on vacation all at the same time and couldn't get back to me. When someone finally did get back to me i explained that i also needed a new transfer case on my 3 year old car! At this point i asked them to give me the extended warranty at no cost. Their reply, "it would cost us $6K and we can't afford to lose that much money! The icing on the cake was when they told me they would be able to give me a good deal on a trade (less than i paid) if i wanted to trade the *** in for a Mercedes! Unbelievable!Review fromCourtney T

1 starIm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent service experience at your dealership, *** OF STRATHAM. I brought in my vehicle to have the oil filter housing repaired, only to be handed back a car with a new issuehow convenient that the new problem ended up costing the exact same amount ($400) I negotiated down for the oil filter repair. That alone felt like a bait-and-switch.While Im aware that $200 was taken off the sunroof, that gesture does little to make up for the continued inconvenience, poor communication, and frankly, the lack of accountability throughout this ********** top it off, after all the work was supposedly completed, I got the car back with the brake fluid service light on. Thats basic service protocol, and it's INEXCUSABLE that it wasnt even addressed. This has been hands down the worst service experience Ive ever had, and I will not be returning. Im genuinely shocked by the lack of care or quality ************ father also mentioned a conversation with **** about how these kinds of issues are common with newer ***s. If thats the case, maybe its time to reevaluate how youre building your vehiclesor at least how youre pricing thembecause these problems are unacceptable for what is supposed to be a premium ******* expected better. Youve lost a customer.Review fromAnastasia S

5 starsI originally had a 2015 GMC Terrain that was getting up there in miles. And recently got into an accident and the damaged cost more than the car ********* it was time to start the daunting process of car shopping. I started at ***** ***** and didn't find anything I loved. And then knew through my research my heart was set on a *****. I found *** *****. My husband and I were warmly greeted. We worked with ***** ****** he was respectful and patience with us having gone car shopping with our 2 year old toddler. (Bad Idea!) He made sure to check on cars I liked. I drove a CX5 and then my top choice CX30. We went for test drive and had nice conversation. No high pressure sales guy! Came back to show room to overtired toddler who was working off 15min nap and goldfish. Sadly we had to leave last night toddler over shoulder. He gave me his ******** day... Today we came back refreshed ***** texted promptly came in to help us on a Sunday! I did **** online to speed up the process. He talked us through it all. Again very respectful and patient! We then met with finance manager ****** he was super chill and relaxed. He explained things I didn't fully understand and again had patience with us signing paper with a 2 year old singing and drawing. The whole process start to finish was a breeze! I will be in the ***** family for a long time! My friend is also looking for a new car and I will highly recommend who we worked with! I can't wait to drive my brand new car!Review fromMrs. F.

1 starI brought my car in for an oil change. It is a 2020 CX 30 with ****** miles. They called me later that day and told me i needed new front and rear brakes, a new tire, and a new alinement. I was skeptical given the low milage so I declined. When I picked it up they handed me a 6 page report detailing everything wrong - all written in red "critical, needs attention immediately" and proceeded to warn me that it really wasnt safe to drive. My service advisor was **** ********** and he was extremely condencending (I am a woman in my 50s).I then brought the car to an independant mechanic recommended by a friend - showed them the report from ***, and asked them to check. They told me there was nothing wrong with the car. Brakes were fine for at least another ****** miles and tires were in great shape. I have reported them to the **********Review fromSandra W

1 starI purchased a 2022 ****** Camry from *** ****** in September 2021. I also purchased a platinum extended warranty when I purchased the car. Last year the air conditioner line was leaking into the cabin of the car. I took it too *** ****** in ************************** and they informed me it was not a service covered under my extended warranty in October 2024. I returned my car to *** ****** service department for a headlight that was full of water. They said they filed a clam with the warranty company and it wasnt covered. This was on a Saturday. On the following Monday I called the warranty company and was told that there was no claim filed since their NOT open on Saturday and there was also no claim filed on line. They advised me to take it to the service center for them to file a claim. I took it to a different service center and it was in fact covered under the warranty I purchased! I would not have purchased the extended warranty if I knew their service center was going to LIE to me when there was a mechanical issue and not honor my warranty!Review fromJames B

1 starWish I could give zero stars. Bought a pre-owned car on 11/02/2024, paid $19000.00 cash with monies collected for sales tax, registration, and document fee. The dealership gave us a 30 day temporary tag, expired on 12/02/2024. The dealership has not registered the car, the temporary plate has expired, and we cannot drive the car nor can we park it on the street. We have called/emailed the dealership nearly every day for the last two weeks and it's one excuse or lie after another. Talk to three people, get three different answers. Meanwhile, the person we gave the car to is walking 45 minutes to work and we're paying for a garage in ****** to store the car so it doesn't get towed on the street. We've bought over 20 cars and this is the worst, most stressful experience. Do not do business with this group. They are not local and own over 250 dealerships--it's a giant machine that does not care about the customers.
