      Hello,I am writing to file a report for Boston Veterinary Clinic - *********. I have worked with Boston Veterinary (Back ************** for 7 years since my dog came home. There is only one other incident I found concerning that I have never reported, this time however is negligence and dishonourable practice.I was out of the country, my dog's sitter saw **** (my dog) was vomiting and called his vet - Boston Veterinary. They said if it continued to bring him in, I understand ********* was the earliest appointment, despite being the furthest.The dog sitter brought **** in and they did ****************** they told her nothing was wrong, but bring him to Blue ***** for fluids as he's dehydrated from vomiting - they can't help because they are closing. Blue ***** doesn't have the best ratings, but Boston Veterinary told her they took his insurance and they would send records. That is the only reason she took him there.They then force a under 21 year old sitter to pay the entire bill after insurance totaling over $400 without: 1) Calling me to pay & to notify me about ****'s condition 2) Calling the ** they were sending **** to, to notify them of his status They said she could not leave until she paid - please note, I have always had a perfect payment history with them including multiple electives, insurance covered a significant portion. This is bullying, and unwarranted without calling the owner. I wish they had that type of concern for the actual life of the dog as they do for getting paid. **** had Intestinal Blockage which was the utmost urgency and life dependent for him to be seen immediately. They did not tell her they saw this on the Xrays (if they even looked at them) they only told her they were closing so she needed to leave and Blue***** could give him fluids.Additionally, they did not send the records nor call Blue ***** (The **) - therefore Blue ***** had to do Bloodwork, Xrays, Ultrasounds all over again wasting more time and unnecessary funds. ************* tried calling Boston Veterinary for the records first and no one at Boston Veterinary answered bc they went home for the day.****'s surgery, due to the crucial time lost, was extremely complicated; it took nearly 6 hours, and may require a second emergency surgery that shouldn't be necessary if he was seen in time if all of this work didn't need to be repeated. TIme was of the essence and they did not communicate what was found on the x rays or the urgency. Again, they did not even call me or the **, nor did they send the records - this negligence is captured multiple times in Blue *****'s reports (attached).In fact, I didn't even hear from Boston Veterinary until after the emergency surgery 2 days later where all they seemed to want to do was try to cover their tracks. I have asked them to refund the sitter - who was never rightfully charged and they refuse. Boston Veterinary doesn't even have the concern to make it right after the fact. I write as this clinic has multiple recent reports of only caring about money over the health of their patients, and this could have cost my otherwise perfectly healthy dog his life and could happen to another.Thank you,*****
