Let me count the reasons why no one should ever use Railbookers:a) NONFLEXIBLE: If I had booked with the hotels directly, they would have changed the dates (my dog was sick and I had to go back homenot covered by their joke-of-an-insurance company).b) worst hotel selected for me ever! The one Im currently in25hours Hotel Terminus Nord(in *****) does even serve water or coffee to their guests, let alone having no basic amenities). I had asked for four-star hotels or better.c). Scheduled attractions are far away from the hotels, incurring additional costs for travelit took me an hour to get to the *************d) they no longer provide you with a printed itineraryeverything is online and difficult to get to.e) they have no phone number that you can contact them with when you are abroad.f). all the numbers they give you for hotels and attractions cannot be dialed on a cell phone s the spaces are necessary between the group of numbers.g). If you enjoy being put on terminal holdas in, they never answer the phone-then, this is the company for you.h). Im having to leave my trip half-way through and will get NO reimbursement or exchange.

RailBookers has done a wonderful job of setting me up with my Italian vacation. We had such a good time in ***** they did everything right. To be honest, one thing went a little bit wrong but they quickly helped and remedied the problem with a simple phone call! I wouldn't use no other company than Railbookers they put us in the best hotels they give us the best layout of the entire itinerary everything went smooth as silk they are the most wonderful company I I would never give my money to any other agency. ********************* , Tx

They made our vacation to ***** extra special. The hotels were awesome and right in the heart of the cities. We enjoyed the **************. Next time I would like to stay in the cities a little bit longer. Perhaps using Railbookers to eat our way around Europe.

The arrangements made by Railbookers were perfect. The hotels were in a perfect location, the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, the tours were exactly what we wanted...in a nutshell, if you don't want to do every detail yourself, leave it up to Railbookers, and they will take care of everything. Even when you need their help because you forgot a detail before you left home, they will fix it for you. They are wonderful!

Extremely disappointed with Railbookers, I was under the impression I was booking a 6 day guided Rail trip around *********** . The only thing this company does, and with significant mistakes is buy you train tickets/passes and book hotels. They will charge basically twice as much as you would spend if you do the booking yourself or through an otherWise normal travel agency.My wife and I ended up having to drag our suitcases to the train station and from there to the hotels which were extremely suboptimal in quality. When I called to complain and asked to be moved to a better hotel they told me I was on my own since all hotels were prepaid and no longer cancellable.I have no problem with a business making a profit but, when the profit is almost 100% of the actual cost of the service and the service is extremely poorly provided, I think this should be considered fraudulent. Now that I read other reviews I realize I should have never utilized this companys services. They are genuinely robbing customers and do not answer any questions when problems arise.Save yourself grief and a lot of money, DO NOT BOOK A TRIP WITH RAILBOOKERS!!

I have used Railbookers for domestic (******) and International trips (*****, ***********, ******) for both personal and for my clients. I have also used them for optional and included excursions. Their customer service is above and beyond expected. Their agents have superb knowledge of rail and destinations. I have booked private drivers (transfers) and found them all to be professional, personable and prompt. I will continue to use Railbookers for all of my personal trips and all of my clients. They do rail, hotels, excursions, transfers, and ferries. My most recent trip was an ***** itinerary that we customized for Naples, ********, ****, ********, Ischia and Capri. The final documents clearly spell out your itinerary, what to do prior to travel, during travel and what to do if you have any issues. Our driver that picked us up from our hotel in Naples and drove us to ******** (******* with Golden Tours) went above and beyond when one couple realized they had left passports, wallets in the safe back in Naples. He said don't worry, he would pick them up and bring them to us on one of his many trips back and forth that day. That is good customer service. Overall EXCELLENT service.
