    Attempting to complete a notarized document online sounds like a great idea until it isn't. This company claims that notarized documents online are accepted in all 50 states but that is false. I am in CA and was assigned a notary in *****. They "x" out all CA information and replaced it with Texas. When I submitted, the receiver denied the notarized document as the seal was from ***** and not CA. They are providing false information and claiming incorrectly that this will be accepted everywhere. When I brought this up and requested a refund, they refused as it didn't fall under their refund categories, whatever that is. STAY AWAY!!!!

    Proof.com advertises how it takes the hassle out of interactions. In truth all it does is ADD hassles. Here's a list of the problems with it:> it uses internet data on you to ask you security questions. Anyone could look up this data so it could be used by someone against you.> the security questions section only gives you 2 minutes (supposedly...it seems more like 1 minute and 30 seconds) so most of the time unless you're an amazingly fast typist you aren't going to make it and your session will time out and you'll have to start all over again.> their "support" is downright an insulting claim as it takes 10+ minutes from robot to possible human typing at you in chat. That person also is not very helpful and will log out of your session before you are done getting their help.> the one time we did get through the notary could not connect with us and also logged out without trying to help fix the connection.

    This has to be the worst designed company. Customer support essentially means no support at all my wife had a title document to sign. After receiving an email the instructed her to sign in at 6:00 pm MST she realized the instruction was wrong and after verifying had 57 minutes to wait. Then after doing so the notary never came on. After a second attempt her camera worked but ***** ***** never came on. I made sure the Safari browser had full access to camera and mic even though support tried to imply that was probably the problem. This verification notary service is about as screwed up as it gets!

    Fraud website , tried asking for a refund and they didnt want to give it. Everything on that notary was wrong so do not trust this website , I probably wont get my refund back but I want everyone to know that they will take your money at all cost .

    On 5/16/23 I paid $25 to have a document notarized. I filled out all of the forms prior to emailing, it in except for the part of the notary. I signed and dated the day that it told me to, which is the date that I filled out the form myself (5/15/23) I have physical proof of this. The website blanked out the part of the form where I had physically signed and dated, and made me agree to an electronic signature. The signature was spelled wrong (I had no option to type in my name so I figured this would be fixed in my meeting). However my meeting lasted three minutes the guy told me to pay him, I did, then he said, "Great! You filled it out, you're all set.". I emailed the support team and the didn't offer a refund to have it redone with the correct name. They told me I'd have to pay to have it redone when my name was already manifested in their system and I had no option to change it. Thankfully I felt like this was a scam so I screen recorded the whole interaction (not the guy I talked to, but where the website wouldn't let me correct my name). I signed and dated the original document and they blanked it out and added a misspelled signature. I have emailed support back in hope that they take care of this. I will update.

    The two agents I worked with so far have been very helpful. I don't know yet if there will be issues with the stamps or whatever, but I will find out eventually. I feel bad the other people on here had troubles with this company because it seems like a great business platform that could greatly improve people's lives. I had my notary done after midnight by a lady I could hear her *********************, which was actually heartwarming to see that someone could have a job where she could spend time with her family working on her chosen time. I sure hope that these issues get resolved and that this company to bless more people with jobs. please be sure to pay your workers good rates.
