I wanted to transfer my crypto to a friend. They were very rude and ask allot of questions and refused to make the transfered and locked my account. I do all my stock trades through them, and now can't do any. I could be losing my shorts and can't do a thing. These people should be prosecuted for obstruction.

I have never encountered a more incompetent company than Fidelity. I inherited a share of my late fathers retirement account, which for some reason means I cannot make transactions myself through the website or app. So I have to call. Every interaction with Fidelity, from initially starting my account to my attempts to set up regular withdrawals has led to the need to make countless phone calls and needless waiting, all because each contact led to one thing or another being badly botched by someone on their end. I finally thought I had successfully set up regular automatic withdrawals from my account, but this month they stopped for no apparent reason. And when I called to find out what was going on, I was told someone else at the company would have to look into it, which could take up to 15 days for a response. Utter incompetence.

Once your funds are at Fidelity, they do everything possible to prevent or make it difficult to withdraw your money. I attempted to pull out money and then decided to close my account because of the runaround I got on every request. The customer service experience is terrible because the agents are restricted from solving actually our problems. Every hurdle to prevent you getting your money out is offered up. They can't even tell you an *** on a service level; instead they have to send you a document full of legalese which didn't even have SLAs.

My mother passed in 2014. She had a 401k with my father listed as beneficiary. My father passed this past November. I am the next blood relative and have been trying to collect the 401k owed to my family since February. I have turned in every bit of my paperwork requested but every time the 30 day period for paperwork review is about to close they company adds on more paperwork for me to acquire. I was asked to make a small estate and get a rein number. Ive done that and now fidelity is asking for me to get a probate estate. When I asked why I wasnt give a clear answer. I admit I was irate but its because Im grieving and although people keep saying sorry for my loss its cold and they turn around and draw out the process even more. They didnt even know my mom passed even though I faxed her DC 3 separate times after she passed. Every time I call its like Im starting over and I have to tell them both my parents are dead at least three times per call. The phone calls are well over and hour each time and none of the information is transparent or helpful. I want the funds owed to my family and I never want to mention fidelity again! Im honestly ready to sue.

One of the worst companies out there. I have money that I cant seem to get ahold of from my 401k. One of the basic jobs of an investment company is to manage invest your money but have it available as its your money. I have wasted time and money on numerous occasions trying to get money out of my 401k and they cant take care of it. They even told me that I was diseased as a reason. Just one of the worst companies. I have one of thier investments folks trying to get us to invest in annuities. I will NEVER do any business with Fidelity and will make sure to let others know of the debacles that fidelity done. Just a horrible company

Horrible customer service. More than two hours in wait time so far and two weeks without help. Randomly my card stopped working since someone internally turned it off. Still can't use my card, paying doctors out of pocket due to this. Circles on the phone and keep transferring me to different departments.

BEWARE....Fidelity is notorious for "FREEZING" accounts and "FREEZING" access to your account and money. I will be contacting the head of the Banking and ***************** of ******** and seeking to initiate a class action lawsuit.
