I was financed through this company and also another company for a 2022 ************. I ended up trading that car in and the dealership paid my Malibu completely off I ended up getting a different vehicle with a loan through my bank. I had no problem with the other financing company. I look in my account and there is a car payment taken out from lend buzz. I called the dealership and let them know what was going on. They checked their side and they were not sure why the payment was takenout because they could see on their end that the check had been deposited the day before they took it out of my account, I have called multiple times One of the customer service representatives told me 48 hours and then when that didnt happen a different representative told me I would have to wait until 15 July when my next payment wouldve been if I still had a car payment, which is ridiculous because this payment was never supposed to leave my account, especially when they cash the check the day before they took it out of my account and now Im having to wait a whole month on a refund when it has put my bank account in the negative and I am being charged overdraft fees daily because of this incident . The staff also are very rude and give you the runaround and do not want to seem to help and will not let you talk toanyone higher up than them. Today is the only day I have ever spoken with the supervisor even though I have asked to talk to Someone with authority in the company. I just want my refund back and not have to wait a month for it so that I can fix my finances that they disturbed.Business Response

On June 15, 2025 the customers loan was not yet paid off so another payment was automatically pulled. The following day, June 16, Lendbuzz deposited the check from the dealership resulting in the refund. We expedited the refund check and had it issued on July 10. The customer should receive it in the next few days.Initial Complaint

This company sent me an email today. The email indicates that I applied for a car loan; however, I never applied for a loan. They have my information but I did not authorize or applied for a loan. I called them and I sent them an email, informing them that I did not apply for a loan. They have yet to communicate with me to clear things up.Business Response

1.
Vehicle Damage and Misconduct by **************
After the vehicle was damaged during a prior towing incident authorized by your company, I was subjected to threats from the towing company. I filed a police report documenting the incident. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue, your company has consistently denied any responsibility, unilaterally claiming the vehicle was undamaged without conducting a proper investigation. This conduct is not only negligent but potentially exposes your company to liability for damage caused by your agents or contractors.
2.
Disputed Balance and Credit Reporting Inaccuracy
Throughout our communications, your company has provided inconsistent and unverified payoff balances, quoting both $26,000 and $23770.45. I have email records clearly documenting the agreed balance of $23770.45, yet your company has failed to honor or formally confirm this amount. This inconsistency raises concerns under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and may constitute false credit reporting and deceptive lending practices.
I formally request:
A corrected statement of account reflecting the final balance as $23,770.45
Written confirmation that this amount will be reported to credit bureaus accurately.
3.
Recovery of Personal Property and Aftermarket Modifications
My vehicle contained $10,000 worth of aftermarket and modified parts, which were installed at my expense. I retain receipts for all components. These modifications are legally my personal property, and your company is obligated under *** law and state repossession laws to allow recovery of non-secured personal effects prior to auction or sale.
I demand immediate access to retrieve these items and confirmation that they have not been sold, removed, or damaged.
4.
Failure to Communicate and ******************************* has repeatedly refused to engage in any reasonable communication or provide assistance in resolving these issues. This lack of cooperation is unacceptable and further escalates your liability.
Formal Demands:
A full and final itemization of my loan and fees, confirming the payoff amount as $23,770.45
Correction of my credit report to reflect the accurate balance.
Immediate access to retrieve all personal property and modified parts.
A written response to this letter within 10 business days of receipt.
If I do not receive a satisfactory response within this period, I will initiate formal complaints with the ************************************ (****), the State ************************* and consider civil legal action to recover damages and hold your company accountable.
This letter serves as a legal notice of dispute and demand.Last things:

Business Response
Date: 04/29/2025
Lendbuzz has investigated the complaint. As previously communicated to the customer, there was no evidence of damage caused during the repossession of the vehicle on March 28, 2024 by a third party agent. Lendbuzz previously provided the condition report from the repossession, which showed the vehicle was appropriately towed.
The customers vehicle has been repossessed twice due to non-payment. After each repossession, the customer made the necessary payments to reinstate the loan. The customer has failed to make required monthly payments, with the last monthly payment being made June 1, 2023. Lendbuzz has been unable to locate the vehicle for repossession. The loan was charged-off on January 1, 2024 and is being reported as such to the credit reporting agencies. The customer has disputed the account several times, and Lendbuzz has confirmed the account is being accurately reported to the credit reporting agencies. As of April 29, 2025, the customer owes $26,390.81 and retains the car in violation of the agreed up on terms. The customer has the option to voluntarily surrender the vehicle and the proceeds from the sale of the vehicle would be used to reduce the outstanding balance. If the balance is paid, the account status may be updated to Charged-Off Paid.

2. Disputed Balance and Credit Reporting Inaccuracy - Lendbuzz agreed to allow the customer to pay $23,770.45, which is the principal amount outstanding, instead of the full balance owed as part of an agreed upon payment plan. Lendbuzz will honor this payment agreement, but cannot change the amount reported to the credit reporting agencies. The customer has disputed the account several times, and Lendbuzz has confirmed the account is being accurately reported to the credit reporting agencies.
3. Recovery of Personal Property and Aftermarket Modifications - The customer may retrieve personal items from the vehicle. Lendbuzz is a fraud
The amount Lendbuzz agreed to allow the customer to pay $23,770.45 is incorrect. The outstanding amount is not the principal, but the amount including interest, and after I pay in 2024, the amount has been reduced to about $19,000. Lendbuzz's confusing calculation method gives me different numbers every time, and I have 4 different confirmation messages.
1. I have sent at least 8 emails to the help email address they provided, but there has been no response so far.
2. They never asked me to provide a police report and proof of damage for the towing accident in 2024. They just asked me to contact the towing company. When I retrieved the vehicle from the towing company, I found the problem. The towing company told me that it was no problem and asked me to continue driving. If there was a problem, I could come back to claim from them. However, when I drove less than 1 mile and the vehicle could not be driven, I returned to the towing company again and they threatened and laughed at me. I contacted lendbuzz and they refused to help. Therefore, this incident led to a deadlock. I contacted and complained many times afterwards but to no avail. I had to stop paying and repaired it myself, paying a repair fee of $20,000, waiting for a negotiated solution.
3. On May 9, 2025, they used a vehicle without license plates to tow away my fiancee's vehicle at her Washington address without sending me any written, email or phone notification. The same stranger appeared in my fiancee's driveway and unauthorized garden three times on different dates. We have camera evidence. My fiancee's driveway can only be entered through the neighbor's private driveway because my fiancee's house is at the end of the road. The stranger repeatedly went around the house to try to verify whether there was anyone in the house in order to tow away the vehicle. The neighbor was worried and called the police.
4 The wrong amount reported claimed that it could not be changed because according to the records, the first report write-off occurred before I continued to pay. If the wrong report cannot be modified, it will violate the Credit Fairness Act. I have filed a lawsuit.
5. In multiple telephone communications with them, Lendbuzz refused to provide a valid mailing address. My lawyer sent a letter to Lendbuzz according to the address in the loan contract and it was directly returned. Lendbuzz has been trying to evade responsibility, ***** responsibility, and defraud.
6. The vehicle has been towed back by them for at least a month now, and I have not received any written or telephone notification. In the vehicle are my fiancee's passport, my watch, the diamond ring I gave to my fiancee, and the amulet made of my grandmother's ashes (this is very important, it is the only link between my grandmother and me), and some other personal items including two sunglasses and a backpack, because I planned to have a dinner and travel with my friends and my fiancee that day). And on the day the vehicle was towed away, my phone showed that the car door had been opened, and the car door continued to be opened many times in the following days. According to the law, they are not allowed to infringe on my personal property.
I asked lendbuzz to provide the correct address that can receive the lawyer's letter and will not be returned. My lawyer will take the next step on my behalf.
Because I contacted lendbuzz directly, they always refused to provide a valid address, and even refused to provide any communication. They have been lying.

Lenduzz has reviewed the complaint and the attachment. The referenced $852.51 is the past due payment for May, June, and July 2024, which the customer owed ********************. Additionally, $42.63 of late payment fees are also listed on the attachment and were owed to Lendbuzz. The other charges referenced by Mr. ***** consists of a $1849.70 impound fee, $425 impound fee, and $150.00 flatbed fee, totalling $2,423.70. Lendbuzz was required to pay these to obtain the vehicle from impound because of Mr. ****** actions which caused the vehicle to be impounded. Lendbuzz requires customers to pay accrued impound and repossession fees as part of reinstatement/redemption. Mr. ***** was attempting to reinstate the car and paid the outstanding past due payments and fees with Lenduzz, but was not able to take possession of the car due to the outstanding tickets with New York. As far as the condition of the vehicle, Lendbuzz received photos of the car when it was released from impound on August 6, 2024. The photos show no damage to the grill, glove box or any other part of the vehicle or blood on the car. The license plates were not stolen, but removed because of the outstanding balance with New York that needs to be paid before registration and plates can be reissued.Customer Answer

[Lendbuzz is not telling the truth at all. I have attached what Lendbuzz sent to me. At the very top, that is what I owed to Lendbuzz which was a total of $852. The other charges is what Lendbuzz paid voluntarily to repossess the car back to them from the initial impound. Lendbuzz even provided a breakdown of what they paid to the impound which has nothing to do with me. I then contacted Lendbuzz in which I spoke to ****** who falsified information deceiving me into believing that if I paid the extra $2300 and some change that was left over in which they voluntarily paid as they would call it they repossessed my car, that once I paid the additional $2300, I would set up an appointment, to retrieve my car out of repossession. So Lendbuzz, manipulated a situation and never rendered service. To add insult to injury, the car was destroyed by breaking the glove compartment, both back tires were on dummy tires, the left front grill of the car was hanging off, there was human blood on top of the hood of the car. So even if they stood on their word of releasing the car to me after paying the $2300, I would have had to spend that amount to repair the car. I also had to obtain a police report from the 60th precinct for stolen license plates because the license plate ******* was stolen off the car as well and never returned to the ***. A civil lawsuit will follow as this was a heinous act of deception and manipulation on a comsumer.

[Lendbuzz again told partial truth. Enclosed is pictures. I have a video that is too long that shows the inside of the car. The car is missing both back tires and they are on dummy tires. Both plates are stolen off the car. I have a police report and a receipt from the dmv that the plate was never turned in since June. There is blood on top of the hood in the picture as well. I have no reason to lie but lendbuzz feels that they have a reason to lie for some apparent reason. I am suing them civilly as well because they took advantage of me and they lied telling me once I paid the repossession fee that I would get my car back. Yes I owed outstanding tickets but that was not told to me by lend buzz that I had to pay that in order to get my car back. They destroyed the car so that they would repair it and resell it back over. This is a crime and I am going to the news media with this as well. Thank you! Please send me a separate email so that I can submit the pics because the file is too large

I do not in any shape form or fashion accept Lendzbuzz thoughts on what should be done going forward. 1 the car is a lemon and if they didn't know at 1st they fully know now. So accepting the 1st thing about the dealership continuing to work on it is a resounding no as this will be the 4th transmission in the lemon and the 1st 2 was done by **** themselves and it didn't work along with the other 3 codes not fixed. The 2nd option of trading it in is the same. You can't get half a ***** on the dollar for a vehicle needing the 4th transmission along with the 2nd motor on a car with only ****** miles on it not even counting the other 4 codes of thing's wrong with it. I told them I don't even want my down payment back cause this has been an nightmare that I'm past ready to end.
