      I just came to leave a review after trying to get a quote for home insurance! Leaving information, agreeing to spam calls, etc. and then getting some folks will get back to you. 800K home in a no tornado valley, flood zone, etc. But after seeing these reviews, no thank you. Like the commercials, but keep commercializing! I had to actually poke around on the BBB site to get all the reviews to pop up! Hmmm.

      Beware if you have to file a claim with this company. They will delay your claim by not responding to phone messages or emails even if you escalate. A manager will never call you back. They will deny your claim without any written proof of their reason for denying it. They are rude, unprofessional and uncaring and offer no help whatsoever. Again, be very aware of this company. I would not even give them one star rating. They left me without a car, up to $10,000 more needed in repairs and still owing on the car by denying a claim. They accused the body shop and the dealership of causing the damage and refused to have my car repaired without any proof. They stonewalled as long as possible. My loss was last year in October and I am still without a car

      Hello, my name is ****** ***** ********************************************************** I do not have my policy ********* here to make a complaint. To liberty mutual.I dont appreciate the fact that I went through a horrible time with liberty mutual is taking them about two full months just to give back my backpay of $167.25 I keep being told waiting for 7 to 10 days. I have made calls. I have sent an emails and on those emails Ive sent 2 pictures six times and two different emails at this point I believe they dont wanna pay me back but yeah if I dont pay them at the moment, I will get charged and get a late fee. Can I do the same thing? Can I put them a late fee of an extra $40 for the late fee of making me wait two full months and Im still waiting after I threatened them to make a complaint they sent me an email today telling me that my cancellation went through when I was told on July 7, that my cancellation that went through and that my backpay will be sent now I am being told that hes gonna have to wait another 7 to 10 days just to get my back pay I want my money back now. I do not wanna wait for this company again. I really should look into more information of how I can get more money out of this company. I will not let my friends or family get involved with liberty mutual. A horrible experience and I paid 300 and some dollars just for a ********** car small car Im with ******** and Im only paying $100 a month. I will not ever do this again

      I would give zero stars if I could. Phone tree is atrocious. Every time you call you need to tell whole story again. They make promises of sending you letters of verification and you wait months to get nothing. I finally get to a specialist and she tells me that is not possible. Horrible. Run far from this company

      I had an accident with my car and it was deemed to be a total loss by the adjustor for ******. After receiving this information, document were drawn up with estimates of the claim and the amount they figured the vehicle was worth at the time. The number provided was fair and in line with the research I completed myself. I received the payout the first week of July and was expected to find a replacement vehicle by July 5. After July 5, my insurance carrier stopped paying for the rental and therefore, I have been paying for a rental for over a week out of pocket as ****** claim adjustor act like she was not able to give an extension until I was able to secure a new vehicle . Now it's putting me in more debt and taking away from money I received for the loss to pay for the rental. Now, I find out the small lien that was on the vehicle has not been paid as of yet, and it has prevented me from being able to get a car as the banks want to see proof this is actually paid or will be paid. This company doesn't seem to care about any hardship or inconvenience they put on customers by not working with them, as this has been the worst experience and auto provider I've dealt with in all my years of driving and having to file a claim. My previous carrier allowed me to get at least 2 extensions and worked with me until I was able to find a vehicle. I guess I need to switch back or find another carrier for my auto insurance. This company will not be recommended to anyone I know, and I will be canceling this after this is over and resolved. I'd give it 0 starts, but the system wouldn't accept it, so the 1 star is by force not choice.

      They cancelled my insurance because they said I did not disclose a speeding ticket from 3 years ago. I believe I did disclose this but it's possible that I forgot about a speeding ticket from, again, three years ago. Other than that I have 1 other issues on my driving record that I know I disclosed. I have not been in a wreck in more than a decade and I have never filed a claim in my life. All around this was a terrible company to work with and I don't have one good thing to say about them.

      Motto should be "We don't pay for what you need."We had a tree fall on our house. Our policy was for full replacement value, but they only paid about 65% of the cost for repairs to our home. The adjuster was rude, non responsive and did not properly review documents we had provided. We are switching, even if it costs more. The claim was for about 29k, so not huge.

      I used Liberty Mutual while working, it was payroll deduction, after retiring they received 1 or 2 month more of car insurance, a lady called me and advised I owed $700 plus dollars, I asked was it for 6 months, she never replied, I asked how much is it for 1 month because I would be selling the car, she stated you have to pay the $700 plus dollars, thats stupid most car insurance is paid monthly.

      Raised my home insurance premium from 2k to over 7k. Had no notification other than the "your policy has automatically renewed" email. Six months later my escrow on the mortgage is overdrawn and my monthly mortgage payment went up 1k. Cost me almost 9k out of pocket. I never would have guessed my premium would increase over 5k with such little notification.

      Had a house fire. 3rd party adjustors total was 240k is damages Lib. Mutual cut me a check for 13k. Wanted me to paint and wash. My waterlines melted electrical burnt up, joists ****. Soot thoughtout intire home, in walls, hvac, electrical panel, busted down door from response team. None of that was listed. **** doesn't give a rats behind about anything but profit margins.
