BEWARE CONTRACTORS!!!In my opinion, I am sharing my experience with Atlantic Charter Insurance Company, due to the fact that there are very few companies to work within the ********************** covering ********* Compensation. I would like to share my concerns and experiences. Although I know Insurance coverage is very important in todays Business environment in which the cost is quiet expensive and increases yearly, but it is a part of business life, when you have an insurance company such as Atlantic Charter that quotes you one price then pads the bill with no changes to personal salary there is a problem. I have never had a problem with any of my other insurance carriers except for this company.I am the owner of a small business on Cape Cod, and I was attracted to the Pay By Week feature that my Pay roll company was offering in paying ********* Comp, in which you know roughly what you are going to pay within reason, but Atlantic Charter would drastically inflate the costs of premiums and always had an excuse. I would follow up with them and in regards to coding and they told me that the ********************** gives them the right to put the highest wage earner at the highest code which is disingenuous using fear of cancellation to force you into compliance, feels like dealing with the Mafia with the ********************** having there back. We live now in a society that everyone that wants to collect, can walk into any unemployment office or ********************************** with a cane and collect with no problem or investigation. I think we all can agree being in a small business that there are days that you just want to hang it up, my company has not had a claim in over 12 years. I feel that small businesses need to ban together and fight this insurance corruption which is condoned by the **********************, just my personal opinion.
