On July 5th, 2023 I had Iron Tree remove several trees from my property. The work was done professionally and on time. However, in setting up for the tree work, their truck absolutely destroyed my sidewalk. I called their office and was set up with a date for a supervisor to come survey the damage. Unfortunately I forgot the gentlemans name, but he admitted fault and said the crew shouldve put boards down and he would interface with the town about whether Iron Tree could repair the damage themselves or whether the town would do it and Iron Tree would reimburse them. That was last summer. Since then not a word. Its still in pieces. Its now January. I also had Iron Tree remove several stumps. While the work was done well, there was no option to remove the grindings and I was left with a huge messy pile to deal with.I had previous work done by Iron Tree and ran into issues there as well. The owner personally contacted me and made things right, much to his credit. In short, the owner cares very much and it shows, his employees not so much. As this is the FOURTH issue Ive had with Iron Tree (previous work, sidewalk damage, damage not repaired as promised, leaving a huge mess) I will advise everyone I know to stay away. Dealing with this company is like pulling teeth. Do your homework before you choose them, as I will never recommend them to a single soul.
