            Hello, I took my car in to Belmont Car Wash and Detailing on 6/20/2023 for a deep interior cleaning. While cleaning the interior of the car, the car wash employees lowered the back seats to access and clean the trunk of the car. When they lowered the seats, they broke the mechanism that keeps the car back seats up, and the seats could not be raised back into the prior position. The back seats are now totally unusable. The car wash manager refunded the cost of the detail (******), promised to cover the cost of repairing the back seats, and referred us to a mechanic he works with. However, when I went to see the mechanic, I was told the car wash manager changed his mind and would not be covering the cost. The car wash is now refusing to cover the cost of repairing the damage they caused and they called the police when I returned to inquire on next steps. The police suggested filing a BBB report to get help since the car wash is refusing to cover the damages.
