Mr. **** came in for a transmission service that was on a vehicle with known transmission issues. There was *** recall on this vehicle that was never done, and he was past the time for the dealership to take care of it. We did the fluid exchange and told him to come back within a couple hundred miles so we could check the level.

************ came back the next day and we did check it. It was low a half a quart which is normal and within the safe marks on the dipstick. We added more fluid and he left. The next day he said he was feeling a problem. We had him come in and he was adamant that we caused the problem which is not true. We called the manufacturer to see if they would honor the TSB/Recall and that's when they informed us it was past the mileage to be taken care of.

Being a responsible shop and not wanting to lose a customer I decided to replace the transmission with a used certified transmission that had less than half the mileage that was on the vehicle. Mr. **** wasn't happy that we replaced it with a used transmission. We get our used part's from *********, a reputable used parts dealer.

We drove the vehicle for two days before he picked it up and the transmission was working perfect.

Approximately a week later ************ called and said the transmission failed again. When we got the vehicle, we drove it for another two days and we couldn't find a problem, but we decided to replace under the warranty that ********* provided us. That transmission only had 11K miles. drove the car again for three days and zero issues.

When ************ called back again and said he had lights come on in his car. I told Mr. **** we would take a look at it but if it wasn't associated with the transmission he would be charged. He never came back in.

I paid for an oil change and cleaning on 11/24/2023 and on 12/26/2023 my car flashed a low oil light and then the engine sized 10 miles later. Speedee's did not change out the oil and left the old oil in my car. Due to this mistake my engine was unrepairable. I had just replaced the engine in November of 2022 and I only put 20,000 miles on it. I reached out to Speedee's on 1/2/2024 and was told that either Mark or Avery would give me a call back about this incident. I have not heard back from either of them and on 1/11/2024 my car was deemed a total loss.

    I am responding to a claim/complaint by ******************************

First and foremost, we did an oil change and an engine cleaning for sludge at her last visit with us. See the attached documents. One shows her history at our location and the other is the invoice for her last visit.

As you see, ******** is only changing her oil approximately every 10,000 miles when the filter and oil she chooses to use, is recommended every 3,000 miles or three months. Manufacturer recommends every 6 months or 6,000 miles. ******* always chose and oil that doesn't meet that spec. This was her choice.

******* is leaving out some very important information.

We told her that the new/used (not sure how many miles on it) motor was burning oil, that's why we suggested and engine flush to start to get the sludge out of the motor.

To do the engine flush it requires that we drain the oil, remove and add new oil filter, add the flush, run for 15-20 minutes, drain flush, remove and replace with new oil filter, add oil and check oil level.

Everything is recorded at the time of service.

I'm not sure who Mark is but Avery, my manager did call back and left a message.

Also, we provide all customers with free top offs between oil changes. After letting ******** know that and that she was burning oil, she should have just stopped in more often and we could have helped her.

We are in no way responsible for her buying a used motor that had a ton of miles on it. She should go back to where she purchased the motor from.
