    This company (Brighton towing **************************************) evacuated my car on 07/08/2025 from the parking lot of my house ********************************* where I live legally and have a rental contract. During the evacuation of my car, I was at home and no one even tried to knock on my door. When I came to pick up my car, they were very rude and called me nasty. They only accept cash (200$) payments. They also did not answer my questions and did not provide me with the documents I requested for the court.

    To Whom It May Concern:

    The reason for the tow is for the following reasons:
    The vehicle did not have a valid Brighton Towing Parking sticker  as required on her windshield 
    that would  have prevented her vehicle from being towed.
    Although she resides at said address Brighton Towing has a contract to patrol that area
    The managers and or landlords are the ones who make calls for vehicles to be towed if
    no sticker is visible...the vehicle was picked up almost 24 hrs later and if she did not notice
    her vehicle towed the same day we are not responsible and we will not be issuing a refund as the tow 
    was a legal tow...she entered irate and was very hostile and there were no employees being rude 
    as she stated...she was blocking employee work trucks and that is the reason the call was made to have 
    her vehicle removed.

    Other vehicles parked in the same lot also do not have any stickers.
    I noticed that my car was missing at approximately 3:20pm on July 8, about an hour after it was towed. I was getting ready for work at that time, so it is simply absurd to suggest that I somehow didnt notice my car was gone.


    I spent a long time trying to figure out what had happened to my vehicle because I had no idea that I was supposed to call the police department to locate it. The property management company was completely unresponsive, and I was only able to reach the towing company around 5:00 PM.


    I could not pick up my vehicle the same day because I was working and I was already one hour late for work due to the towing.
    How do they expect me to just abandon my job and go retrieve my car in the middle of my shift?


    When I went to the towing company, they refused to provide any documentation or detailed explanation regarding the towing. Would you stay calm in a situation like this?


    I specifically requested the following:


    1.Tow Authorization Form ? Not provided
    2.Itemized Receipt  I only received a handwritten slip
    3.Tow Ticket / Invoice ? Not provided
    ******** of my vehicle before the tow ? Not provided


    I also asked:


    1.Who authorized the tow? I received only a short vague answer
    2.Where exactly was my car parked? No clear response
    3.Did you attempt to contact me before towing? ? No. 
    4.Why are you requiring cash-only payment? ? No explanation, only pointing at the cash only sign 


    At the time of the tow, I was at home. No one attempted to knock on my door or notify me in any way. That raises questions not just for the towing company, but for whoever ordered the tow in the first place.

    Today, 4/5/2025, I drove around ************, looking for a parking spot, for over 25 minutes. I decided to go to Burger King (on *************), parked my car in the lot (on the street side of the lot with NO signageplease see the photo), went in, bought a meal at 12:17pm (waited about 13 minutes for my food bc they were busy with online orders) & placed my food in the **** looked at my phone as I put the food in my ******** was 12:30PM. I, then, walked up the street to a store I wanted to visit & havent been to in years bc its very difficult to find parking in the area. I made sure I wasnt in the store for longer than it wouldve taken to eat my meal in the restaurant. I understand they dont want people parked there for long, even if they buy food. I bought an item, at *****, at 12:53PM & walked back to find that my car was towed. Since I bought food, I believed to be considered a customer & had no idea that I could be towed in less than 30 minutes. The time stamp was at 12:43PM. Clearly, the tow company waits there or has someone alert them immediately when people leave their cars. I believe this is an unethical business practice. They prey on people who dont understand the rules & struggle to find parking in the area. I feel strongly that I should be refunded for the tow ********** to the lot, totaling $231.44.

    2-28 25 I am disputing an incident on this date, I entered *** on **************, they did not have what I wanted, I went to the store next door for approximately 5 minutes. my car was on the *** lot I was about to get my car, I saw Brighton Tow truck backing up, I stood at the back of my vehicle, the tow truck backed up between me and my vehicle. The drive said that he already call is office and I have to pay $80 now or he will towed my vehicle to Brighton and it will cost me $280.I told the tow truck driver that he did not hook up and I should not pay. He thretened to call the police, I was late for my appointment so I paid the $80. He should not get a ***** because he did not hooked the vehicle on the tow truck

    My car was towed on 12-13-24 from *********************************************** by Brighton Towing at 7:27pm. At the location there is a wall directly across from my parking spot that does in fact have a towing sign, assumingely signaling that parking in those spots will result in towing as the sign states those individual spots are Tow Zones After speaking to the individual on-call, I stated that there was no clear signage for the specific spots I was parked in and was told well now you know. Im looking for any legal information regarding the allowance to tow a vehicle from a spot that does not have proper signage as well as a potential refund for the charge.

    as to complaint #******** sorry for the late response but the complaitint was parked on private property wich is owned by *********** in wich the complaintint was not a customer or in the establishment wich was subject to be towed for trespassing we are a company wich lots of contracts for companys who are tired of people parking on their property while being some wheir else other than their establishment,we go thru this all the time people upset cause they got towed when in all reality it was their fault,all properties that we tow from have signs that any vehicle that isw not a patron of said establishment is subject of being towed yet they choose to park their vehicle and go somewhere else

    On Friday August 23rd, I walked out of ********* after having to purchase a couple items. I had parked my vehicle in their lot at 8:56. I walked around the corner to another establishment, came back to *********, made my purchases & went to get into my ******** was gone. I was informed it was towed by Brightons Towing. It had been a little under an hour. We called the tow company, was told they were located right around the corner. So we walked to their lot to retrieve the vehicle. Was told it was going to be $170 for the 1 minute tow that they did because I was parked right around the corner from their lot. Also when I tried to pay with my debit. They stated cash only. Which is quite ridiculous. The tow guy proceeded to show us a photo of my parked vehicle at 8:57 which was literally right after I got out of the car. Your company is filthy & simply searching/hunting to take money from people. Its pathetic. He also stated he watched us to see where we went. I couldve gone into ********* minutes later. Regardless youre simply searching for money to get from people & taking advantage of situations. It was an empty lot. You took the car the second we walked away. Its just not a good look for a business. The character & the reputation youre building for yourself is thief like.

    I parked my car in the ********* parking lot and made a purchase at 4:26pm, for which I have a receipt for. The signs in the parking lot state that parking is limited to 30 minutes. I returned less than 30 minutes later to the parking lot and found my car was gone. I contacted Brighton towing who informed me that my car was towed at 4:36pm. Therefore I did not violate the parking requirement because I was both a customer of ********* and was there for less than 30 minutes. They towed my car after only 10 minutes and then required $174 to get it back even though it was only towed across the street. The manager of the business/towing guy was conveniently not at his business nor was he able to be reached by phone.

    To Whom It May ********** July 18th, 2024 I stopped by 7-Eleven at *************************************** to get cigarettes. I parked my car in their parking lot and went inside 7-Eleven to purchase cigarettes. It took another 5-6 min because it was a line at the registry. When I went outside my car was already gone, and no one knew or saw my 2015 Honda CR-V, MA license plate ********** attached documents clearly show that I purchased 07/18 at 1:02 PM and my car was towed at 12:57 PM. I was inside of 7-Eleven when the driver stole my car.I found my car at the Brighton Towing facility. When I paid and went to my car I found numerous damages/scratches on the passenger side's rear quoter and front bumper.I also paid $174 for illegal towing of my car while I was a customer of *************** help me.Thank you very much!P.S. On their receipt, they marked scratches all around. However, my car had no scratches at all, and now only these two damages from towing.
