Acton Ford *** of Acton, MA fraudulently passed inspection on a used vehicle they sold me and misrepresented that it had passed a 139pt inspection prior to being placed for sale. The car, which was a gift, was purchased on February 26th and parked that evening. Upon picking it up to present it, a total of 41 miles of driving since purchase, the new tire popped. Once the tire was removed it was immediately apparent that the reason the tire popped was because there was a broken and rusted coil spring lightly rubbing on it leaving micro-shavings everywhere. It wore the tire until it popped it. I questioned how a coil spring could break, wear on the new tire and pop it 41 miles after it was inspected at their location. The service manager said it didnt leave the lot like that. We disagree and feel like we have enough evidence to prove the suspension was bad on the car prior to inspection and that it was fraudulently passed for inspection by Acton Ford ***.Acton Ford is refusing to produce what they sold me and instead would rather cancel the transaction. I paid for a **** Certified used ******* vehicle that was purported to have gone through a 139pt inspection, with 4 new matching tires, clean carfax, the interior and exterior in excellent condition and enough guarantees to make me feel comfortable buying the car. I received a vehicle with a bad suspension that had not in fact gone through the 139pt certification and was fraudulently passed for state inspection.
