Rouses Supermarket would not let you return any items without your ID. At least, as far as I know, so far it's only with my husband, not sure about anyone else. Before taking this INSANE ACTION LEGALLY, I just want to be sure that by law, that they have WRITTEN PROOF that this is LEGAL in what they're doing and not just doing this to certain people/discriminating because they're the only SUPERMARKET that my husband has to show his ID with returns in Metairie/the New Orleans surrounding areas.  When they started doing this, it started out that he had to show his ID to return items 5 dollars and above, now it's for any amount even if it's just a dollar.. It's almost as if they have it set up that way for him in particular because of him returning items more than other customers I believe.  But he also purchases a lot from their stores as well even when I told him to stop shopping there once they've started that craziness.  I've told him that it's useless and foolish of him to keep spending his money at a store that not only wants him to show his ID to return any items but doesn't value him as a LOYAL CUSTOMER and only gives 3 days to return items. It's ridiculous which is why I no longer shop there. And noooo, it didn't just start because of the evil that disrupted this world that started in 2020, they've been doing this long before then, so they can't use that reason as an excuse.  They lie if they say it is the reason. Rouses Main Store/Corporate Company in Thibodeaux, LA. doesn't care/is not responding. The only way to tell if they're doing this with every customer, they'll have to be tested. Undercover. The End
