February 2022 I decided to put my home for sale and plan on building a house in Gillette Wyoming to be closer to our Son’s that live there. The house at *** ********* ** had an offer the first day it was listed. The buyer wanted an inspection done on the home before closing. During this inspection it was found that the roof was sagging on the West side of the house and was very spongy. The New Roof was put on in 2014 by Quality Exterior Services, LLC owned and operated by *** *********. The roof was a New Lifetime 50 year Shingle Architectural style with Quality Workmanship, warrantee for 10 years. (contracts and documents enclosed) I attempted to contact *** ********* numerous times as the enclosed documents and summary on the call sheet show. His failure to live up to the warrantee and reasonable requests led me to undue stress and paying for the repair out of my pocket. *** is very unprofessional in that he does not return calls, does not follow up with Plaintiff within a reasonable time or at all. The enclosed records and summary show my many attempts to correct the roof problem in either, do the repair or give me an estimate so I can complete the sale of my home. I ended up contracting a Professional Licensed Roofer and Construction company the day before a delayed Closing on the sale of my home. I was given an extra week to get the roof matter handled and satisfy the home buyer. Don was aware of the time frame and urgency of the repair. The day of closing I paid Magnolia Roofing in full so that the closing could happen. I would like to be reimbursed 100% of the costs. The roofing failure was due to Quality not doing good work. The flashing they had put on was not sealed and the water leaked into the soffit and rotted the wood and support structure. The worker from Quality Eric said that the warrantee was only for the shingles not the wood.
