      I’ve been on a three-month review because my water bill was exceptionally high a few months ago. My pipes burst a few months ago which caused my bill to become 648. Before this incident my bills were generally 50-60 dollars. Initially, I was informed that I could pay $50 per month until the review concluded. However, I recently received an update stating that I was required to pay $300. Representative 208 informed me that she was unable to connect me to a supervisor, which is why I'm leaving this review to inquire about the reason behind this significant increase in my water bill.

      The city of Shreveport water department changed their billing system and I was not notified now I have a 422 water bill that is due for connection. This is no fault of my own. My water bill is set up on auto pay each and every month. I learned from my neighbor that there's a new building system and that I have to register my account. Due to me being paperless I never did receive any information about a past due bill. We finally able to review my account I see that my bill have not been paid since July and I was not notified through email or by mail. I have late fees on every bill and I request the assistant or some type of payment arrangement. There's no way that I can pay $422 water bill that I had no knowledge was past due.
