We purchased a brand new home Feb 13, 2023.
After closing we realized The master bath had some issues that had been covered up with a repair. we asked the contractor to make it right , he sent out someone that worked for him , which only made it worse. I emailed and asked for it be corrected , he sent someone else out. This person said the bathtub was no installed correctly and had no support under it , which caused it to crack in another place. So they sent someone else out to put supports under the damaged bathtub. Then they sent the other back out AGAIN, he removed all the residue from the covered up repairs. Just to find that it was initially another crack in the bathtub that had been covered up.
He said he could try to repair it , but it would not last long term.
We purchased a brand new home , and I expected the bathtub to in brand new condition as well.
When my husband finally called the owner, he was very rude and was yelling at my husband on the phone, the problem has not been resolved. I do not want a repaired bathtub with a temporary fix. I do not know what else to do.

Several attempts to repair the tub have been made. The last
repair was stopped by the homeowner as they were worried the repairs wouldn’t
last. After that, the homeowners made it clear they were seeking a new tub, not
a repaired one. As a result, InLine reached out to the supplier and ask that
they have the manufacturer of the tub issue a warranty claim so that a new tub
could be installed. The manufacturer agreed to replace the defective tub at no
cost. The homebuyers have been out of town since the last phone conversation/emails but InLine is currently trying to schedule a timeframe to replace the tub.
