I filed a claim with Choice Warranty who contacted Prime Time Construction. in Ponchatoula, LA The request for work was filed on February 7, 2024. On Feb. 15, 2024 a person from Prime Time Construction came out to do a preliminary service assessment on my needed work and we paid him $85.00 Service Fee. Apparently the Service person did not write a proper report for his boss and his boss sent the incomplete job information to choice Warranty. With the information Choice got they allocated $500.00 to remove cabinets repair the leak replace the needed Sheetrock and put the cabinets back. On Feb 27, 2024 Prime Time Construction called asking the type of our counter top because his tech made an incomplete job report. Prime Time Construction contacted Choice warrant telling Choice Warranty they could not remove and replace the granite they needed a qualified contractor to do that part. At this point it became difficult to get Prime Time Construction on the phone or by text. On Mar. 5, 2024 Prime Time Construction notified me their second job request put in to Choice Warranty was denied. Then late that evening Mar. 5, 2024 Prime Time Construction sent me a text saying, "You may need to get another plumber to help with this Issue! Then Prime Time Construction wrote to me, "I'M SORRY I COULD NOT BE MORE HELP TO YOU!!!----- So now it has been 4 weeks that my kitchen is out of water due to the incompetence of the technician who wrote an incomplete preliminary report that report that was not properly checked out before it was sent to Choice Warranty. I am now, one month later, I am out of $85.00 I paid to an incompetent contractor. And after a month I am left to start over from square one. Choice warranty refuses to pay to have the 3 centimeter high end Granite removed by a professional, and now Prime Time Construction says they cannot do the job. So I purchased a home warranty for the top rated company in the USA and all I get is screwed.
