I signed a contract with them on 09/14/21 for repairs to my home damaged by IDA. On 09/17/21 I gave them a check for $50,000.00. The Contractor had very poor subs in doing the work and no one was properly supervising the job. Quality was terrible. Items that were not part of the job were damaged. One group of subs showed up under the influence of Marijuana.By December they were demanding more money and promised they would fix the items and complete the job quickly. I paid them another $68,415.00. Contractor refused to pay the cabinet builder the balance due and I was forced to cover it. Months went by with no work being done. When someone finally showed up in March/April, they were not current licensed professional subs. Doors were installed crooked and incorrectly. Some were still missing. Instead of buying prehung doors, he tried to build them. Doors drug floors and were not plumb. Finish work was not completed. Texture on walls was not corrected. Painting not completed. Fireplace was missing and when dealer installed new one, installed the incorrect one. Instead of vented, he installed vent less and then sheet rocked over it. He left a live electrical wire in the fireplace cavity and also ran the incorrect gas line. Both violated code. Electrical work per contract was never done. Ryder was given numerous opportunities to fix these item and many more and complete the job. He missed numerous timelines he agreed to and at some point blocked by calls on his phone and stopped responding. I fired him on June 6th after no one showed up again to do any work. I have had to hire professional people to come in and fix the work done improperly and to complete the work Ryder did not due. I have all receipts and have attached an excel spreadsheet with descriptions and pricing with updates. I have emailed Ryder and Ryder and asked him to reimburse me for these charges. Through this process I have communicated well and tried to help Ryder complete the job.
