  TELA Construction is an amazing company that stands by their work. I had a custom house built in 2016 by TELA. My house is beautiful. The process went smoothly. The subs hired by TELA were excellent. Any issues that came up during building were taken care of quickly and efficiently. Hurricane IDA caused some damage to our custom house in 2021. We once again used TELA construction without hesitation. TELA took care of contacting my insurance company, hiring all subs and getting our house back to its pre-hurricane state.   Our commercial building was severely damaged during Hurricane Ida. We called TELA right away and they helped us through the whole process. They navigated the nightmare that is insurance and made sure we got every penny that we needed. We were left with a beautiful new building.   After Hurricane Laura, my wife and I came back home to find extensive damage to our home. I don't think any of us in the Lake Charles area were ready for what was to come for the next two years (and still longer for some)... Covid backed up supplies a lot, Democrats slowed the economy down, prices went up and dependable common labor was hard to find. The second day I came back to the house the rep from TELA was walking the neighborhood and came to visit. We sat and talk and he took the time to help me figure out everything I need to do (we've both been friends ever since). They walked us through the whole process, restored everything, and corrected any mistakes that were made... The whole process took about two years. It hasn't been always smooth by any stretch...most of it was my impatience and ignorance about how things worked behind the scenes. All the things I mentioned before surrounding the slowdown didn't help...but that wasn't TELA's fault. They were always patient and optimistic when we talked. If I went through another Hurricane, I would call TELA because I trust them...plain and simple. ***** *******

  I highly recommend TELA Construction. We have a large commercial building that received significant damage from Hurricane Ida. TELA worked well the insurance adjuster to be sure we were paid what we were entitled to. Quality of their work in excellent. TELA completed this project on time and on budget.

  TELA was professional from day one and met us where we were at after Hurricane Ida. As a commercial project post-hurricane, the potential to have supply chain issues was great, however, TELA worked diligently to order materials in advance making sure the project moved forward without delay. We are greatly pleased with the result of our contract with TELA and were able to make some greatly needed upgrades to our building. The project finished on time and they followed through on every concern and question throughout the project. They stated that their goal was to make us as the customer pleased with the end result. Goal achieved, thanks ****!

  **** helped work on my condo association's hurricane Ida claim and were amazing. They helped with temporary repairs of the roof to stop additional damage. Then, they worked together with our insurance company to get additional damage covered that was not in the initial adjuster's report and completed all of the repairs. Their staff were great with helping each step of the way. I would, without reservation, recommend **** for any of your renovations, repairs or construction projects.

  Well, all I can say is that they got paid a premium price from the insurance company. But they used the the cheapest material they could find. We moved back in our house February 2021. Now we have caulk peeling from the base of the toilet, and from door frames. The shoe moulding is coming apart in the whole house. Paint is peeling off of doors that were painted. Bathroom ceiling over tub is is visibly uneven. The vinyl floors are not laying flat. Throughout the whole process we had to call them out repeatedly to redo and fix things that were not done properly the first time. The people were extremely kind but the workmanship did not meet our expectations. I do not recommend this company.
