    If there were negative stars available I would have happily selected it.
    I have dealt with many contractors since returning to Acadiana 15 years ago, and I've endured project and cost creep. But I have never dealt with a business that does both and yet returns a grossly inferior product as JB Painting & Remodeling of Acadiana, specifically Jonathan Penley, the owner.
    His initial appearance to give an estimate made me quite comfortable with his knowledge of the situation: to replace an existing fence. I even gave him detailed plans and measurements. I can only assume his mathematical comprehension needs improvement as he shorted me a fence section and ignored our request for cedar. So his quote was woefully short of the final tally.

    Employ Mr. Penley at your peril. We are still in the process of fixing what he left.
    I dare not call him back for repairs as I do not ever want to see him on my property again.
