1 starDo NOT use them. I repeat do NOT use this company. They have cut off my wife from her medication twice. Once when she was finally in remission and the second time after she had 2 doses. Now she has missed her third dose and her health is steadily declining. They wont do anything to help and have given us the run around for the week. If I could afford private insurance just to not deal with them I would do it but my shitty job has them on our insurance. So if your health is declining and you’re looking for pharmaceutical help do NOT give them your money. You would have more help by taking that cash and burning it and inhaling the smoke.Liviniti

1 starMy work just switched to Liviniti for 2025 and I'm having serious trouble getting a medication my doctor prescribed approved through Liviniti.
Even though my doctor followed all the steps, including prior authorization and appeals, I’ve been denied multiple times. I’m now in the final appeal stage, and it’s been incredibly frustrating.
What’s worse is that Liviniti said the medication could be approved, if my PA gets approved. My doctor and I submitted all the required documents that clearly explain why the medication is necessary and should be covered, and we still got denied.
Adding to the frustration, I received conflicting information from Liviniti’s customer service. In January, March, and July, I was told my medication could be covered if my prior authorization was approved. However, when I called again on July 16, I was told it is never covered, even with an approved prior authorization.
It feels like there’s no transparency or support in this process. I’m just trying to follow my doctor’s guidance and get the medication I need, and I’m stuck in an endless loop with no answers.
I’m asking Liviniti to take another look at my case, give a real explanation for the denial, and provide a fair and clear process for getting this medication approved when it’s medically needed. I've never had so many issues with insurance coverage before.Liviniti

1 starChronic Medication Delays, Denials, and Lies — A Dangerous Company to Trust With Your Health. If I could leave negative stars, I would.
Liviniti delayed, denied, and misrepresented a time-sensitive, FDA-approved medication request submitted by my provider on May 30 — the same day she informed them I was out of medication. They did nothing for 20 days, then sent a questionnaire. My provider completed it immediately. The appeal was submitted on June 23. Liviniti denied it on July 2, claiming they were “unable to make a determination” due to missing information — even though they delayed requesting that information for nearly three weeks.
They blocked my provider from accessing the case — even with the claim ID — and made her resubmit the same documentation multiple times. Their system is opaque, unresponsive, and functions like a black hole.
Then came the insult: they demanded “proof” I was on Weight Watchers or documentation that I exercise — despite receiving a medically justified treatment plan from my provider, supported by an endocrinologist. This is not part of FDA criteria. It’s gatekeeping, not care.
WeightWatchers is a commercial program — not a medically prescribed, FDA-regulated treatment. It’s been criticized by health experts for promoting disordered eating, processed foods, and for poor long-term outcomes. The FDA has not endorsed it — and has raised concerns about WW’s involvement in unregulated compounded GLP-1 drugs, and about its app targeting children as young as 8.
This isn’t an isolated case. Just read the other 1-star reviews. Liviniti is not a pharmacy benefit manager. They are a barrier to care.
As someone in HR, I’m horrified to discover a provider treats employees this way.Liviniti

1 starMy coverage was active 5-1-25 however Liviniti keep deactivating me because there was a software issue. After 21 days the issue was resolved per my employer and Liviniti. Now the PA is to be submitted via the website portal however im not listed. So my doctor needs to fax it per Liviniti however Liviniti states they won't except a fax script. It needs to be submitted via the portal however im not listed so the script gets kicked out. Day 29 and still no script. I truly believe they don't want to cover the cost of the specialty script. Why even have insurance coverage.Liviniti

1 starIf I could leave negative stars I would. This company makes it EXTREMELY difficult to obtain speciality medicine (ex Humira for ulcerative colitis). They use two different companies to delivery medicine. They DO not communicate why a medicine was denied. I’ve been struggling to get my medicine for 3 MONTHS. THEY DENIED 3 different types of the medicine. Name brand wasn’t good enough, generic wasn’t good enough, a different name brand wasn’t good enough.Liviniti

1 starI have had no good experiences with this company. An agent actually lie to me about a prescription letter I got my BCCS. It was in my hand and the agent tried to tell me this was a lie and not correct. I need to call them again about another script but I’m dreading it because I know the information might not be correct. Goodluck to anyone that has to deal with this company.Liviniti

1 starThe only reason they get 1 star is because the people who answer the phone are nice. They don’t listen and you go around in circles with no resolution but they are nice. This company is horrible. Every medication requires a prior authorization and when my doctor completes it, they throw another hurdle at it. They do everything in their power to not cover a medication. I have been without a medication that I have been on for years and has been beneficial for over 2 weeks and my physical, emotional and mental well being are falling apart. This seems to be their playbook. They demand and demand more and more ridiculous things until the patient and/or the doctor gives up. It’s disgraceful, it’s wrong. I hate being forced to use them. Liviniti does bad business. I hope and pray my employer changes this next year.Liviniti

1 starThis is the worst prescription plan I have EVER had the misfortune of being forced to use. I have been off my diabetes medication for over two months already this year due to them demanding more and more information each time my provider sends in the PA request. I got a one month override and then have been out of the med for three weeks again as of today. I have another medication that they won't approve due to step therapy requirements, even though the step therapies are contraindicated with another necessary medication I am on. I might add that both these medications that they are delaying access to are name brand meds with no generic substitutes. If it is expensive they seem to not want to cover it or make it very difficult to get covered.
All this boils down to the fact that I am suffering medically and they want me to jump through BS hoops to get my medical treatment. It's disgraceful.Liviniti

1 starMy husband’s company switched from their provider to Liviniti. They are the most incompetent and difficult company I have ever worked with. It is literally like they are trying to prevent me from getting my medicines. I have called over 50 times and have spent over 4 hours total on the phone trying to sort my medicines out and I still do not have them. If you are interviewing with a company that offers this prescription coverage run far far away,Liviniti

1 starLast month my medications were $25 with a drug company coupon card. Now even with the coupon my medications are $150 to $175 for a 30 day supply. My local pharmacy that I HAVE to use for all my medications because I work there; will no longer be able to carry Ozempic or anything in that family of drugs. It has to be mail order.
So to make this perfectly understandable, 2 medications are going to cost me a full weeks pay. and then some.
So far they stink.
