    Im very disappointed with Progressive Auto Insurances handling of a recent claim. After my wifes car was caught in floodwaters, it was not totaled despite extensive damage. The car sat for nearly a month at *********************** in ******, *********, waiting on a partduring which we received minimal contact from our claims representative.When the part finally arrived, I had to drive across the state to pick up the car. We were rushed through the process, and it was clear the vehicle wasnt properly repaired or inspected. A milkshake spilled during the flooding was still soaked into the passenger seata month laterlikely creating a mold issue. Water poured from the exhaust when accelerating, and within five miles, every warning light came on, urging a return to the dealer.There was no sign Progressive monitored repairs or ensured the car was safe. It should have been totaled. The representative told me, *The best thing you have going for you is that Im on the claim.* I've spoken to him only three timestwice because I had to escalate the issue myself. I asked to speak with a supervisor twice and never got a call back.Were still without a car. A rental wasnt covered, but Progressive should have made an exception. I switched from **** for the lower rate and even moved my home insurancebig mistake. I plan to return to **** and may seek legal advice.     Stealing from our account ***** month for almost a year after dropping us rather than pay a claim I had coverage for!

    Absolute trash company, they stopped my coverage (before it was up) because I didnt sign and pay their OUTRAGEOUS prorated amount, within 3 days of passed due date, they ignored my new coverage contact, sent me to collections and reported me to the ***************************************** To get fined!!! And to revoke my License!!! I absolutely hope that in the ****************** no one uses, Progressive, Direct, State Farm, or ALLSTATE because they ALL run this big ponzi scheme ****ing up rates to pretty much unaffordable with the LA government to generate more fine money. And they wonder why so many ********* residents drive with no insurance and no license, and the people with the correct credentials get ran into by those folks, they **** up our rates when its not even our fault and the people without just buy some POS car and continue to drive. I have insurance and I still get reported and fined because this STUPID company cant acknowledge my new and current insurance provider, which I feel like if I dont want you to be my insurance provider then I dont have too! Do YOUR job and mind your businesses. Like read these reviews, this company SUCK!

    Accident happen on 9/18, called claims rep on 9/19, in which we agreed to virtual pictures. Told me 2-3 days will follow up; no follow up until I called her on 9/29 ( 10 days later). False information given. Was told car need to get to a shop to verify a brake issue and pictures could not be used. Car went to shop on 10/11 (another 2 week delay) and appraiser was set to go out on 10/12; didn't happen! Here we are 3.5 weeks later 10/14 and pictures was used to draw up an estimate! If this would have been used on 9/19 when I originally sent pictures; on 9/22-23 my car would have been to a shop instead of waiting until 10/11. And you mean to tell me I wasn't worth an extension of the renter???This is by far the worse experience of my life. I pay insurance to be insured and protected by a company that is supposed to have my back. This has broken all the trust I've had for Progressive. This is really bad business. I make sure to share my story with everyone I encounter so they don't make the mistake of choosing an unprofessional company like this! I've always thought highly of this company and never had any issue with this company until this accident happen. You never know what kind of insurance you have until it's time to use it! And it was all due to possible LACK OF TRAINING, because the young woman did not do her job which cause me all of this heartache and pain. Here I am 33 days later, stressed out, still no car and paying out of pocket for a renter; which is money I do not have! This whole process has been emotionally stressful. This company did not act in good faith whatsoever. Communication is key! Customers should never have to run behind someone they pay faithfully every month to do their job nor suffer for something that was not their fault. What hurts the most is my voice was not heard nor was I valued as a customer! I will be ending this policy and pray no one else ever goes through this!

    Worst insurance company. Beware. We had for over 11 years and we were penalized for switching to another carrier. Had to pay for 2 months extra just to end policy early
