On August 24, 2022, I went into Ray Brandt Collision on Edenborn in ******** and spoke to ****. He looked over my estimate and my vehicle and said that he could start repairs on September 12 so that he could order the parts on the estimate. He said the estimate covered everything and he just needed parts to complete the repair. I returned and dropped off my car on September 11 and left my keys in the drop box. I called and spoke to **** on the 14 and he said my car was in line to be worked on but wasnt started yet. I explained to him that he said the reason for making the appointment was to get the parts and be ready to work on it when I brought it in the 12. He then proceeded to tell me that they just make appointments to get the vehicle in but wasnt an actual appointment to get repairs started. I let him know I wasnt happy but he assured me it would be started the next day. I waited two days and called back for an update and **** said it was now in the shop and they were working on it. I waited to hear from him for almost a week and when I called he said they were running behind but he would get an update and call me back. He never called back. I called the following week and got the same run around. It was going on three weeks and now he tells me there is damage that wasnt included in the estimate. When I asked what damages he said on the fender. I was confused because he inspected my vehicle with me and said the estimate looked like everything was there. He proceeded to tell me that the damage was under a trim piece but when I saw the pictures it was very unsettling that the damage looked to extensive to have not been seen when he inspected my car. I then went to the body shop after 3 weeks to see what was going on because **** had said all repairs were completed but he had to paint the front fender. When I got there my car was in pieces and none of the parts that he supposedly ordered were installed. When I asked about the parts he said they were on back order, but he had previously stated all repairs were done except the needed paint. My wheels were not on my vehicle, it had some other wheels on, so they brought them out and put them on. After inspecting the wheels I showed them where the repair was very bad and had cracks. They said it could be fixed and would get the wheel repair place to fix them. They finally agreed that the repairs were taking a lot longer than necessary and loaned me a vehicle. After another week and some days they finally said my car was ready. When I went to pick up my car the wheels looked even worse and I talked to them about the poor repairs. They said they would get with the insurance company to have the wheels replaced. I explained to them that I wanted original factory wheels and not repurposed or after market wheels because I only agreed to the repair process because they assured me it would be done correctly and that meant my wheels that came on my vehicle would still be on my vehicle. After waiting and waiting, **** said they had gotten the insurance company to replace the wheels. If they had talked to the insurance company from the beginning we could have resolved the problem because the insurance company said if the body shop said it was better to replace then repair, we would just replace them. So **** says the insurance company told him they were paying to replace the wheels with factory wheels and he had already ordered them. When I was ready to go in for the wheels he said the insurance company would only pay for repurposed wheels. So I called my insurance and they said they were paying only x amount for wheels and that on top of that they were subtracting what they had already paid for the botched repair because the body shop should be reimbursing me for the money paid for the repair to go toward the wheels. The lady at the insurance said she had explained everything to **** and didnt know why he would tell me the misinformation he was giving me. So instead of even getting the full amount for even the reconditioned wheels, I was getting less. So instead of getting the replacement amount which could have gone towards new wheels with me paying the difference I only got a portion of that. At this point I feel that the body shop ruined my wheels and should replace them with new factory supplied wheels. On top of all this, when I finally got in my car to leave, the gas tank was on empty. I left it there with enough gas to get home which was over a quarter tank. So they were using my car for what, errands, lunch breaks, what? **** said he would go put gas when I went back inside to tell him and he had no explanation for the gas usage. After waiting a good while he returned and said he nearly didnt make it to the gas station. I as still worried that damage could have been done to my engine if it was run so low on fuel. And when they were using my vehicle, multiple people were evidently ridding around in it because the passenger side air condition vents were all closed. And when I was cleaning the interior after getting it home, there was a hand print from a white substance like bonding agents used for body repairs on the rear seat adjuster. I am seeking help in holding Ray Brandt Collision responsible for my wheels to replace them with original factory wheels at their expense. The last communication with the body shop has been several weeks as **** has not called me back after our last conversation in which he said he would talk to the manager and get back to me.

Dropped off car to repair scratches from IDA. 1 month later we go to pick up the car that the body shop created a small dent and new scratches. We did not pick up the car and asked that the issues be rectified. Another month and still no car. This place is awful with customer service. I would have expected them to fast track the car the second go round because it was their fault. Think twice before going to Ray Brandt Collision.
