    My parents had their vehicle towed to his shop on 4/21/2022 after being rear-ended. It needed body and frame work done. He was paid almost $5000 by the insurance company to have this work done, and we paid him $1000 for transmission work. Fast forward to 7/21/2022,after multiple attempts to get the vehicle (he would tell us it was ready then last minute the shop was closed or he having to take it back for an alignment, or once we was on a cruise when he told us to come get it.) We finally got it back on 7/21/2022. On 7/22/2022, my mother almost got into an accident driving it to work when she accelerated and the vehicle lost control and spun into the opposite lane of traffic. **** said he sub'd the work out and would reimburse, but up to today still has paid NOTHING. He says he would not "do my dad wrong," but that's just what he did. Since August 2022, he asked if we would accept payments; which we told he yes, however he still hasn't paid. We drafted a promissory note to have the amount repaid over a 6 month period, but after making excuses after excuses he never paid a dime. He told our attorney he would meet with her and give her a payment but never did. We finally realized they were never planning on paying us back. My parents had to buy a new vehicle and are out A LOT of money because of him. We are in the process of having to *** him.
