I’ve been bringing my car back and forth to the shop at this dealership since March 2024. My check engine light came on. First they said I had water in the fuel. Nineteen days later in April, took my car back due to the check engine light coming back on. This time I was told I had water on the fuel lines. At the end of April, check engine light came back on for the third time. This time I was pissed. I didn’t take it in. Then on June 7th, mysteriously I had no antifreeze in the reservoir. I put antifreeze in there. Then on August 2nd, I took my car in and they kept it until the 8th. They said it was the map sensor and they changed it. Soon as I left off their parking lot, the car started shaking, misfiring and the check engine light came on. I took it right back. They called me on the next day and said it was the spark plugs and they changed them. My car was brought to me and before the guy could bring me my car, he had to take it back in because it was shaking. A week later on the 16th my car started misfiring. Then on August 30th, my car check engine light came on, it was misfiring really bad, it was idling over the 1100 rpm’s while stopped at a red light or parked. Then on September 1st, the reservoir was completely empty. Antifreeze gone! I added antifreeze and I dropped the car off to them on September 3rd! I’ve been told I have water in my gas tank, they don’t know what’s wrong with it, they called extended warranty for a new engine but was told to take my engine down and send pictures. At this point they’re guessing it’s the bottom block so they’re replacing it. At this point, I don’t feel safe accepting that car back because I’m scared as hell that something else will happen and I have two disabled kids and an elderly mother. My old man bought this car from me because he’s been dealing with them for years. He had a 2015, 2020, my 2020 and he traded his 2020 in for a 2023. Four cars with them! SMH @Sterling Kia of Lafayette, LA!
