Unfortunately, I can't recommend this apartment complex after having been a model tenant and neighbor for 4 years. This complex seems enticing on the surface because it's newer and stylish, but there are a few things you should know before renting here: 1) management will try to charge you for normal wear and tear, cleaning, repainting, carpet cleaning, etc. upon move out (and they will charge more than what's listed on the price list in another review posted here); 2) management does not appear to use the community maintenance fee to maintain the grounds, which have gone without mulch for years, or the pool area, which is constantly in a state of disrepair (along with continuing to charge tenants fees during COVID when shared facilities were closed and not being maintained); 3) neighbors are increasingly college students with high rates of turnover year to year and frequent noise complaints; 4) rent increases 5-10% per year based on "the market," when many apartments are vacant (this in addition to increasing community maintenance fees, garage fees, and pet fees); 5) the GE appliances in the apartments are low quality and in constant need of maintenance; 6) the calculation of water and sewer costs is suspect, such as when I was charged during a month in which my apartment was unoccupied; 7) the security gates, both for vehicles and pedestrians, are quite regularly broken and stuck open, negating the safety of the property and its tenants. Management is understandably primarily concerned with making a large profit, but this unfortunately often comes at the cost of basic human kindness and decency. If you run into trouble here, you might consider filing a consumer complaint with the state attorney general's office.
