    Problem is AC isn't cooling. First thing Harley B. did was visually check the outside coil, declared it clean then went inside and checked the evap coil, took a video for me to look at. It was all grey with dust, dirt, hair, edge to edge in all directions. He explained the only way to get an accurate reading on a leak test would be to pull the coil, clean it, and then do the test. He gave an estimate and sent a copy in writing. The thing I appreciated at this point was, as he mentioned in passing, (paraphrasing) you check, the basic stuff first, which is always good practice and he did go straight to A problem. That instilled a bit of confidence.
    He was patient with my questions, helping me understand the options, what could be next, and in general work though a subject I know little about. The short version is, if he were a doctor you would say he has excellent beside manners. I will have waited two weeks to have him on the service call to clean the evap coil, that should tell you something.
