Mr. ***** failed to mention that we actually did over $11,000. worth of work for him but only charged him $9,100.00. The smell is more than likely from it being an 03, and from having a tree on top of it with rain pouring into the truck while at his house. Also, the tech that repaired the vehicle doesn't even smoke. Mr. ***** was informed that he was not on the schedule but he was a "fit in". We explained several times that it would be a timely job. We are booked thru September right now, and due to Covid, everything is moving slower. Materials and parts are on back order for many of our jobs. He told us that his vehicle was a total loss, that he purchased back from his insurance company, and that he couldn't drive it so we could get to it as we could fit him in. We lowered our rates for him and did many things that we didn't charge for. Mr. ***** knows what we discussed, and what repairs were agreed upon to be done to his vehicle. He was also made aware that we would attempt to repair some of the damaged panels, but if they could not be repaired then we would have to replace them. We DID NOT charge for trying to repair them. There isn't one thing on the estimate that we charged for that we didn't do. Mr. ***** left here owing us money on a previous job that we did for his wife's vehicle . He was to settle this bill with the bill on said vehicle (his truck). He refused to pay that bill (his wife's vehicle)- He also went to the detail shop that we use, and told them that we were paying for a complete detail, and left without paying that bill. Mr. ***** used foul language with my female staff to the point that my techs had to accompany her while he was at our facility. We went above and beyond to make Mr. ***** happy. We have been in business since 1968, and we take pride in our work and our customers. We hate that Mr. ***** feels this way, but we actually lost money on this job.
