    I purchased a 72” cast iron porcelain coated double sink and drain board sink for my new home. I moved in in 2021. Infrequently, very infrequently, I have used of soft scrub for bad stains. The porcelain finish is gone. Just gone. This sink should have lasted at least twenty years!! My mother used Comet on our claw foot tub, for years, it never lost porcelain. I believe there is a defect with this sink and the owner, Nicholas W******* insists it’s my fault. It is not! I paid $3200 dollars for this sink!! It took 4 men and three days to install this sink. Soon after, I saw on the web site the price of the sink was drastically reduced to $1200, and now Watermark does not offer this sink for sale.
    I have e-mailed several times, each time the same response, my fault. He offers no solution, no answers, no compensation. I am profoundly disappointed with this sink and the complete lack of respect, customer service and integrity of this company and its owner. I highly suggest a second look elsewhere before purchasing anything from this company. I have had two companies come out to look at my sink to try to repair it, both owners were shocked at the condition of my sink after only four years. Both owners agreed, this sink should have lasted twenty years. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

    We're very sorry that you're unhappy with your Watermark sink and would love to figure out a solution where everyone is happy. Based off the photos (and videos) received, it's hard to see beyond very harsh cleaning. In my experience, the spottiness and unevenness of the finishing your photos is indicative of using too harsh of a chemical on the surface. If this had happened one year within ownership, I would be fully on board that this is a flaw. Happening after four years of use? That gives more of a case of improper care.

    I know you mentioned your mother use comet on her cast iron pieces and never had these problems. And that's very true, older cast iron pieces did handle harsh cleanings better- because the porcelain was loaded with lead. I try to remind people of that when buying new cast iron that you do have take care of it a little differently than previous generations.

    With all of that said, how best would you like to proceed? I personally feel the evidence shows the finish was handled roughly. However, as the customer, what can I do to make you feel better about this situation.

    We're super disappointed in their customer service and product. It's a beautiful faucet but with faulty supply lines. We had two different lines crack and leak within two years. The first time our line failed customer service told us our plumber installed the lines wrong even though our plumber is licensed with decades of experience. We bought a second set that our plumber installed again, and six months later the internal part of the line cracked and leaked again.
    From customer service;
    "Remember the first time you reported an issue the plumber used a fitting to join 2 flexible water lines together which is not approved.
    In plumbing, there is always more than one way to get the desired result. We could suggest something that your plumber may or may not agree with, or perhaps the plumber has a different way of doing things. Sometimes code is a consideration; and/or the install location has particular challenges. Please take our suggestions but alway review with a licensed plumber for the ultimate decision. After all, the plumber will be installing so right or wrong ultimately the plumber has to get the job done! Please take the time to review you proposed order with your plumber first.
    Upon arrival of your order, please insist on a "Dry Fit" of your item purchased. A Dry Fit is where the plumber loosely assembles everything without using plumbers putty or wrenches to tighten, so you can see it together as a whole and approve before it's permanently installed. Keep all your packaging in case you want to return an item, sometimes spout reaches on faucets can be a subjective."

    Kathleen,

    As previously advised, more than once, the flexible supply lines that were supplied with the faucet are designed to go from the faucet to a shut off valve ONLY, you cannot use fittings (adapters) with flexible supply lines to add multiple flexible water lines together.  The end of the flexible water supply line supplied with the faucet is designed to seat on a shutoff valve ONLY.

    Overpriced product with ****** customer service. Nothing is their responsibility. Always the purchaser's fault or responsibility. Our sink had a design flaw with the supply lines that should be their responsibility. They stopped talking to me regarding the issue. I had to go to a local plumbing company have the supply lines shortened so they would work. I sent pictures of the issues. They don't care. Watermark Fixtures is only in it for the $$$. No conscience, no concern for the customer, could give 2 ***** about the quality of what they're selling. Just know that if you buy from them, you're on your own. Save your money and buy elsewhere. They couldn't care less about the customer experience or satisfaction. Untrustworthy company.

    At WatermarkFixtures, we do strive for great customer service, however, we are not a stand-in for a licensed plumber. Supply lines are a standard length across the market and are designed to be cut based on the customer's individual plumbing specificity (not everyone has the same length to reach their water lines). Had ****** ***** not been as rude in his email communications as he was in this review, we would have gladly explained this to him. In reviewing the help desk conversations, no questions were posed to our associates, only rude comments.
