    Dear BBB team,

Netchex provides payroll services to employers.  This complaint from *** ******* is a request for Netchex to provide a copy of W-2 form.  We do see that she was employed by one of our clients in 2024 and have confirmed that Netchex provided all 2024 W-2s to this employer in January 2025.  It is the employer's responsibility to distribute the W-2 to each employee.  We are contractually obligated to only speak with authorized Administrators of our client/employer businesses.

I wrote an email back to the person submitting this complaint with instructions to help rectify this issue.

       Hi ***-
I received a complaint from the Better Business Bureau, requesting to receive a copy of your W-2.
W-2 forms for 2024 were distributed to your employer, Onesource EHS, in January 2025.
Onesource EHS has the responsibility of distributing W-2 forms to all employees.
In order to solve this issue, please contact Onesource EHS and ask them to provide your W-2 for 2024.
       Thank you-
       ***** ******

I hope that this response satisfies our obligations as a reputable BBB member business.  Thank you.

I acquired Advanced Calibration Specialists in mid August 2024. It took a few months to gain access to the financial information. I discovered a repeating *** charge to the checking account from an unknown source. I tracked the charges to Netchex. The business had not used Netchex since 7/1/24, but Netchex was still charging a monthly service fee via ***, that I cannot cancel. The original accounting team that setup the account were not available to assist. I contacted Netchex to stop the *** withdrawal. They claimed I need to complete a termination form, which they supplied. I contacted Netchex for assistance on completing the form, as there were questions I could not answer. Multiple calls and emails, but still no resolution. I had the bank place a block on the *** withdrawal, which resolved the issue for one month. The next month Netchex changed the withdrawal amount, which bypassed my block. This feels deceptive to me, they apparently knew the banking policies better than me. The wait time to talk to a real person is terrible. They claim they will call back, but never do. My next step is closing the checking account which is a major investment in time. Frustrating to say the least.

    Hello BBB -

Netchexs VP Controller has spoken with ****** ********** from Advanced Calibration Specialists and has resolved this matter.

****** recently purchased the business and was not aware of two company entities that were still active with Netchex until the billing continued.
Netchex refunded $600 for the company code Advanced Calibration Specialists stopped using in August 2024.

We were happy to work with ****** to resolve this matter and look forward to continuing doing business with him.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Thank you to BBB for working on my behalf, I doubt this would have been resolved without this complaint process.

    Regards,

On 9/12 I worked my last day at *********************** and informed my HR corrdinator my need for COBRA month of Oct. I filled and sent paperwork 9/20 assuming all was completed and found out on 10/10 that my medical insurance was cancelled. I paid Netchex 10/11 and have the record of payment for insurance and today, still have inactive medical insurance. There is no phone number to reach a live person through Netchex and can only correspond through email. I have spoken to ********** every 3 days and they are still waiting to get paperwork from Netchex. We have paid 2 Dr ***** back in cash but would just prefer to have the cobra payment back since they did not provide the insurance we needed this month.

Hi BBB-  Thank you for your inquiry.

The Netchex ***** team received an inquiry from ************************* on October 10, 2023.  That same day, a Netchex Representative wrote and email back to ************************* advising that in order to start the ***** process, we would need to receive the completed ***** enrollment form, along with the initial monthly premium payment mailed to our office.

On October 16, 2023, ************************* completed this, provided what was necessary, and the Netchex Representative confirmed by email to ***** that we had everything that we needed to submit, and would let her know once we received confirmation from the carriers.

On October 25, 2023, ************************* emailed Netchex asking for an update.  The Netchex Representative replied to the email that same day, reporting that we are still awaiting confirmation from the carriers.

We tried to reach ************************* today by phone to discuss.  Once we connect, we will report that sometimes it takes the carriers longer to activate ***** benefits.  We have followed our process, and can only confirm benefits in place once the carriers issues that confirmation.

Her request in the complaint was to have a refund issued.  If this is what she truly wants, we will cancel our submission of the enrollment form, and ultimately refund ***** for the amount that she paid.  We will reach out to her again on Monday November 6, 2023.
