    On 05Sep2023, I purchased a Hyundai Palisade from Eddie Tourelles Northpark Hyundai in **********************. The Original Cost Sheet and the Purchase Agreement are attached. There is a fee of $398 on the Original Cost Sheet labeled as Taxable Fees. There is a corresponding $398 fee on the Purchase Agreement labeled as Auto Guard. Not once during any of the discussions with the Northpark team was there any mention of Auto Guard and there is also no paperwork associated with it. Auto Guard was never even brought up when I specifically asked the accounting person to compare the fees on the Purchase Agreement to the fees on the Original Cost Sheet. It only shows up at all in the fine print used on the Purchase Agreement in a space combined with the Title Conv/Notary fee.Auto Guard is a theft protection insurance coverage that I would have refused to pay for if it had ever been brought up at all and my insurance company does not provide any discount for it.I find it deceptive on the part of Northpark that they appear to be hiding and including the costs of options that should be discussed in full so that the customer can make an informed decision on whether they want the option, or not. They were very thorough in explaining all of the other optional coverage packages that they offer.I contacted the sales person on 12Sep2023 who indicated that the Auto Guard is, in fact, some sort of theft protection insurance that they offer but I have not yet heard any additional information as of the time of this BBB complaint filing. I advised the sales person that I wanted the Auto Guard fee refunded to me ($398 plus tax).I want to be a satisfied customer and I believe that ********************************************* wants the same thing. They specifically and conspicuously tout Transparent Pricing on their website homepage. My request to resolve the complaint is for Northpark Hyundai to refund the $398 plus the associated sales tax (8.7%). The total refund should then come to $432.63.

    September 7, 2023 I came to the dealership to purchase a vehicle. The salesman was professional at first went for a test drive noticed things on vehicle that worried me but the salesman stated that it hasnt been brought to service yet and it would be addressed but I also asked if an extended warranty would be available to feel safe before the purchasing which I bought. The down payment was given but later advised if I put down more it would be better towards the purchase price which I did. That day I didnt leave with the vehicle and the salesman stated he would keep in touch and stay on top of everything once finished with service. That day also I didnt get a chance to sit down with the finance department to go over ANYTHING the salesman just brought the paperwork told me to sign. Days passed no word I kept reaching out to the salesman first but he would respond hours later so I stopped by to get a check up face to face. The salesman act as if he was trying to avoid me then later came to speak to me stated it was still in service told him I needed the paperwork from the purchase that he placed in the car because he said it was ready when I first purchased on the 7th. After reviewing it had concerns asked for a manager sat down with him noticed my down payment amount was less than what I paid which was a red flag. After the meeting was issued a for money that wasnt listed on the paperwork and also addressed not sitting down with the finance department and for the salesman lack of help after the purchase. On 9/10 I was told the car was ready for pick up and the parts was on order but will call when the arrive to bring the car back. Days past kept reaching out to the salesman which he kept brushing me off just for and update. On 9/20 he stated he would give me an update but never did so I reached out to manager stated they were in the same day told me to drop off on 9/22 to get into a loaner vehicle to get fixed. Worst experience ever 9/28 still no vehicle sad
