Hello, my name is ******** *********, and I would like to make a report in reference to a man and his employee that came and did some tree work for myself and my neighbor and lied about being licensed and insured. His name is **** Sutro and the employee that works under him is **** "Buster" Gonzales. They both live at **** *** 8, ******* LA XXXXX. His phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. On June 6th, they both dropped a large pine tree in my front yard and cleaned it up within a few days. They cut the second tree, a large oak tree on June 7th, and dropped the tree in the wrong spot and hit the edge of my house, tore several pieces off of the attached carport, a limb hit the hood and drivers side fender and passenger roof of my 2008 Chevrolet truck, destroyed the saltwater generator and sand filter pump for NY above ground pool- as well as the entire front of the pool, destroyed two large resin lion statues, multiple palm trees and plants, left two LARGE limbs hanging that easily could have killed anyone if they fell on them, took out the wifi and power lines at the pole and the dusk to dawn light and left the live wires hanging and exposed without telling anyone anything. I had asked then a week prior to doing the job if anything was needed to be moved, including the pool, to avoid any issues and was told that it would not be a problem and that everything was OK where it was. Since that day, **** took the $2000 for the job and left and has promised thru his co-worker and via text to repair or replace all of the damaged property and he has not done so. He has not returned to complete the job of cutting the oak tree up and moving the wood to the back of the property. I intend to file a police report and a civil suit but would like to have them reprimanded thru the Dept of Ag. And Forestry as well since I now know that they are operating without a license or insurance. Thank you for your assistance with this matter. My address is **** ***** Drive, ***** LA XXXXX.
